Two dogs were seized by British Transport Police after a commuter was bitten in a suspected XL Bully attack on a train platform at London Stratford station.

Footage circulating on social media appeared to show a man trying to get a large dog under control at the station before being thrown to the ground near to the platform edge as a train approached.

A woman with a second large dog then appeared to approach the man and take the dog’s collar to restrain the animal.

    1. Shame on the SNP for refusing to make these animals illegal in Scotland. Owners of XL Bullys are sending them north of the border because they don't want to have them put down and can't afford to keep them. I hope there are no tragic incidents, but I suspect there might well be.

    2. I suggest that owners must get an animal license before owning an animal by classed which animal are the least likely to be threatened by public or highly likely to be threatened by public. Failure to pass the animal exam should not be issue license for dog owner. Just like driving.

    3. I dont think that guy is the owner. I bet someone lost c9ntrol he tried to grab it then it turned on him.
Im suprised those two dogs didnt fight after.
Makes me wonder if they were both hers?

    4. The jacket he’s wearing and how he’s holding his arm out. Omg it resembles the training methods they use when trying to train guard did dogs. The jacket and positioning Omg. I always knew that was such a bad idea, bc the dogs get trained to attack that way and its always someone they know and love in the big fat puffy coat. But that coat resists bites, this poor man’s, does not
She has no control she has no call back. He was completely ignoring her as well. She has no business owning a strong guardian breed of dog

    5. Not the dogs, is the owner and lack of training…… just look at some humans acting the same way, they call them "teens" or the "I know the law" while committing crimes. I will have this dogs train and rehabilitate in no time, … humans are harder to change and or impossible.

    6. I can sort of sympathise when people argue about it being down to the owner and it being their fault, as i have a german shepherd which obviously has a certain reputation. But at the end of the day, why do the average families want a dog that was literally bred for violence? What do they expect, i don't get it. No matter how much training its in their blood.

    7. there seems to be correlation with between one group of people as the most common owner of large and dangerous animals, i believe mostly pit bull, and how they train their dogs. almost as though they prepare them for it.

    8. Why does she have a dog in a train station in the first place? Its public transport if she cant afford a car to take her dogs places so the public is safe she should not have them .she should be named and shamed this almost cost that man his life why she never tied up the other dog to go get the other one is silly.
