    1. @restlesswikiinfo: As expected, it depends on where the bicycle is left, how long and how it looks like. For outside parking most use the inbuild lock and/or an additional chain. You would be surprised how many bicycles are not locked at all outside the big cities.

    2. @restlesswikiinfo When you buy a bicycle in the Netherlands it will come with a wheel  lock as a standard option. You can upgrade them but you'll pay extra. In most city's people will buy a motorcycle chain lock, and use it to lock their bike to a signpost or a tree.
