Here are some interesting stats about cycling in Belgium:
Most cycling world champions: Belgium (26 wins)
Most monument wins: Belgium (218 wins, Italy is second with 156 wins)

The only thing we seem to fail at, not counting Merckx, is winning grand tours. About time we see Evenepoel back in shape and going for the Giro, in a few years the Tour of France perhaps…

For me Ganna deserves to be the best rider of Italy. He was soooo strong in 2020. Impossible to do it better!
