To be a it’s kind of our Christmas show I guess it’s not quite Christmas yet I know I don’t want to like put it all on you all too soon but it’s happening like in a couple of days not far is it is it three days um but what I thought we’d do

What you think of this we’ll confess to Father Christmas cuz we want to get our presents right so let’s get it all out of us let’s confess some truths it’ll be fun the thing is we confessing we’re confessing to Santa but Santa already knows if we’re on the

Naughty or good list knows everything but I think we um we’re going to do some confessions right they’re coming up in just a moment but what I want I really want I want some confessions from these guys oh let’s hear it’s going to be dark yeah

That’s me but what we want to know is what are you guilty of in 2023 and what do you hope to change in 2024 but just to get you in the mood here’s our confessions forgive me Father Christmas cuz I have sinned a lot um I don’t know

Where to start actually but something that’s been on my conscience for many many years is uh the 1996 European mountain bike championships in metf um I was there to represent Great Britain in the trials competition I had good prospects but I got drunk the night

Before and missed it then I had to tell everyone my bike had been stolen so I didn’t get fired from my sponsor I was a professional I Apologize forgive me Father Christmas for high have sinned to my followers preg gmbn I my ADD not now that is sharping out products that I was not meant to be riding for instance wheel sponsors that I wanted to ride that were stronger than the ones that I was sponsored by likewise with bars

Tires and many other products I sharpied them out and I have false advertised to those followers back in that day I’m very sorry I Shan be doing it again forgive me Father christas for I have sinned uh I’ve given poor medical advice in the past I’ve seen lots of

Injuries in my days of being a mountain biker and I’ve had a few myself including two dislocated fingers the first time I made the mistake of going to hospital and taking ages and it was really painful to get back in second time I knew what was going on so I just

Pulled it went back in that’s not a story but I was out riding with a friend who dislocated his finger so I gave him my advice and give it a big pull sort it out straight away turns out it wasn’t dicated it was broken so my advice is bad don’t listen to

Me forgive me Santa for I have sinned I have a confession to make whilst innocently out walking in the woods not too long ago I saw a gravel bike and I liked it it wasn’t just any gravel bike though this gravel bike had a dropper and it had

Suspension a wave of Terror came over me but I still enjoyed the look of this bike it wasn’t a mountain bike it wasn’t a road bike had curly bars what was I thinking I was so confused I didn’t know what to think I just had to run away

Sorry forgive me Father Christmas but I have sinned I have ridden many bikes and I’ve raced many many years I’ve raced cross country bikes at World Cup level I’ve done inury stage races I’ve even done cycle Speedway but I have never raced downhill oh shame as a gmbm

Presenter I’ve only ever ridden two downhill bikes on two separate occasions um I guess I should do more maybe for 2024 forgive Me forgive me Father Christmas for I have sinned I once put a 26in wheel in a 650 V4 which by itself doesn’t sound that bad but it was a boxer World Cup and it was actually at a World Cup um and a very quick racer had to use a

26-in wheel on a 650b bike and did a full run um thankfully they only complained about the suspension not feeling perfect when I discovered the Fault when I realized that the tire had got lots of mud clearance in the new boxer 650 as it was at the time the

Other mechanic and I just swore never to speak of this ever again so yeah forgive me Father Christmas for I have sinned right hey they good confessions I feel better get now don’t you I’ve learned some things about you guys you feel better I feel bad
