French government officials held an emergency meeting on Friday to address the issue of infestation of bed bugs in Paris.
As the city is set to host the Olympic Games next year, the government is struggling to control the recent wave of panic caused by the presence of bed bugs.
Even though pest-control experts have not raised any alarm, passengers in transit and U.S. influencers in Paris for Fashion Week have reported sightings of bed bugs and bites from the blood-sucking insects.
“Bed bugs are a worry for our fellow citizens who fear dealing with them. It is a real ordeal for those affected,” the French prime minister said.

I used to kill bed bugs with a spray from Canadian Tire. It did 60% of the job but the deal was done when i bought a mattess protector to trap the bed bugs from Walmart. Never bitten again and this is what money making pest control people don't tell you.
I hate them! I had a terrifying experience once I traveled and stayed at a hotel. Imagine in the most vulnerable moment of your life when you drift into sleep after a long day and have fear of these monsters in the back of your mind.

Bed bugs are not a new… They infested Toronto in 2007 to this day. Then, I met a guy at Detroit's airport in 2018. His flight was canceled because the plane was infested with bed bugs…
When i had be bugs I made a trap for these little bastards. I made a bowl in the middle of the room with warm water, sugar and yeast. The carbon dioxide produced by the yeast attracts them as it mimics your exhalation. Around it I would sprinkle a thin dusting of diatomaceous earth. This substance has tiny little shards that pierce their exoskeleton and will kill them. Very effective as well as had exterminator spray the perimeter of the room.
