Jump in this car and I’m going to drive it straight away we’re going to sort it out put it up a sale and you’re going to see the whole thing so let’s get into it so guys just like clockwork ja recovery turned up outside the garage with this

Lovely 2009 Ford Fiesta Titanium it’s not normally this straightforward is it I’m always a little bit eager but always a little bit worried when I’m taking deliveries of these salvage cars because you never know once the car was offloaded I handed over some do 130 quid

For delivery from cart in Sandy down to East London which is a lot cheaper than if I was to pay Copart yeah it’s chafing a bit but I’ll sort that thank you all right guys let’s get back to the garage and see what’s up clutch feels okay yep

Clutch feels nice engine sounds good no knocking I’m always skeptical with cars this clean but so far so good all right guys so check this out we’ve got the car back at the garage um the plan for this car is to do very minimal get up for sale as soon as possible and

I’m going to show you how much I sold it for um I picked up the car from cart I paid £1,200 paid 130 quid to get it delivered and have a look at this we’re going to be straightening this out I’m going to try to do it without having to spray got

A little crack here we’re going to see if we can do a little small smart repair on that the grill is missing a little chunk there I’m not sure what I’m going to do on that quite yet but the rest of the car is actually a good Nick have a

Look at that on the rear of the car it’s just a bit of dirt and grime but it’s actually a good Nick there again on this driver rear quarter all good let’s go into this the interior now on the interior of the car as you can see it’s

Just really dirty more Grime more grub but there’s nothing too crazy that I’m seeing um the car has covered 81,000 miles seats are all good this is these are the things that I’m looking for there’s no rips on the seats etc etc look in the back it’s all good and the car actually

Smells good it smells clean sometimes you get cars from the auctions and they actually absolutely stink but um it’s come with the one key is the proper key is the fob key which is good sometimes you can get just the spare key which is a basic type of key it starts right up

There’s no knocking noises from the engine there’s no smoke I’m happy with what I’m hearing I’m happy with what I’m seeing and guys the point of this video is can you do Salvage on a budget I’m going to show you it doesn’t take a lot it just

Takes a Keen Eye when you’re bidding because if you make a mistake when you’re bidding you can run into a lot of problems what’s in here I was hoping to see the service pack it’s kind of putts luuck if you’re going to get anything but yeah there was nothing in the

Service have a look at the interior again um let me show you one more issue that found let me move it actually it runs it drives once again because it’s the titanium model it’s got steering wheel controls for the radio it’s also got cruise control and it’s got automatic

Lights right there if you look at the little a I don’t know if you can see that let me try to zoom it yeah there’s a little a right there for automatic lights so these are the little things that I look for when I’m selling these

Cars and these are the things that you need to highlight in the ads um so yeah I’m happy let me know what you think of the car so far in the comments down below um the AC I can feel AC AC is always a plus when you get cars and the

AC works I’ve just heard the pump kick in I’ll leave that for a bit I want to see how that’s going I’ll check the front heating wind screen as well as the rear these are all the things that when you’re selling a car a customer is going

To come and check these things so you have to just check them quickly it doesn’t take a lot of time just double check see how it feel see how it’s working turn off that one whilst that’s getting cold let me show you something else it’s the titanium model so it’s got

The titanium Alloys the tires are all good Alloys all there lights are all working but this is the spare wheel this is a Steely this is the spare um so I’m going to have to get a new wheel for this side and it’s just got some scuffs

There hopefully we can polish that out I’m not going to spend too much on this car guys I want this car gone ASAP let’s see what’s in the boot w happy days is it damaged so this is the alloy you can see it’s curved but I’m sure we can sort

This out and it’s silver I can’t see any cracks or breakages it it looks ever so slightly bent there so I’ll be taking this down I’m not going to get too excited just yet I can see a little flat spot there and a little flat spot there so I’m

Going to see if I can get this repaired if I can get this repaired I’ll be happy with that it’s actually got the tire what’s wrong with this tire sometimes you get these tires and they just get pinched in the accident and it lets the air out there’s actually I can’t see any

Damage but I’ll I’ll leave that there I’ll let the tire shot tell me exactly what’s going on there what are these I actually quite like these what you guys think about these sort of things on cars I actually quite like them I’ll stick them back on I think they actually they

Actually do their job once you crack the windows with those on they’re wind deflectors it actually stops the wind from gushing in so I’ll stick that all back back in there engine let’s check out the engine so guys I don’t know if you can

Hear that but the fan for the AC is in full swing so that tells me that the AC is working on these cars it can sense if there’s no AC gas and it will shut it down and I can hear the clicking from the clutch on the AC pump let’s go check

The AC oh I can feel AC I can feel AC Happy Days Happy Days Every is working check the speakers speakers are working sometimes you get cars and they’ve blown the speakers like there’s so many little tiny niggly issues that you get with some of these salvage cars but so far so

Good it’s got a little rust spot there but I’m going to try to clean up everything to the best of my ability and then we’re going to head to the tire shop so let’s get the car washed actually you know what I’m going to stick my 360 camera on the back and

We’re going to go for a little drive and try to sort a few bits so let’s do that and let’s go I’m going to show you how I sort out my salvage cars let go so guys the plan is I wanted to see if that alloy wheel was salvageable so I made a

5-minute drive down to my local tire shop just to make sure that the alloy was okay and if I could get a new tire to fit onto it just a quick note I have got Traders Insurance so before I drove I popped out my app and I registered the

Car on my trade app so the car is now insured here I am making my way down to the local tire shop and we’re going to find out what they think after a quick chat with the manager I went ahead and got the wheel out and they gave me some really good

Prices as I’ve known them for quite a while guys if you’re ever in hatney come see this guy Max he’s got all the tires and you’re going to be doing alloy refurbishing soon is it with diamond cutting he’s setting up the diamond cut machine there if you’re in hatney come

See Max hopefully you can get this sorted out and you get a drink on arrival well done thank you so after checking the alloy wheel Max told me that the wheel was good to go I went ahead and I paid 25 quid for a used tire which is in good condition um this

Is a salvage car we’re going to be selling it on it’s on a budget so I’m not going to have a brand new tire on there used tires are just as Good with the new tire fitted I was able to put that spare back into the boot where it belongs and we went ahead and got that alloy wheel fitted onto the car so that’s it guys I’ve paid $25 quid so far the next stop is I’m going to head

Down to my local mot station I done a check using the dvla vehicle inquiry service and the car has not got an MLT so I made sure that that was booked in and I’m legally ready to drive to the MLT Station now as I’m driving I can see everyone checking out the 360 camera which is just weird stick mounted to the back of the car but anyway here we are so guys guys I’ve just come down to M Brothers car services this is where I get all my mlts done that’s the man

Himself there if you’re in East London and you need any mlts done come see these guys here trust me they’ll look after you just say Salvage nation sent you you get a nice little discount in Brothers remember the name so guys M Brothers MLT station down in shw ditch

Have got a fully kitted out MLT Bay lots of good equipment um and he wasted no time when I got there he was doing an MLT on a BMW but have a look how the car is shaking um he’s got a little device that actually shakes the wheels of the

Car and that will test the bushings but I’ll let him explain a little bit about that later on as you can see he’s writing down the VIN number and other details of my car before loading it onto the MLT station now what he’s doing here he’s checking for any corrosion any rust any

Loose Nuts and Bolts he’s checking all the bushings we’re giving this car a proper look over and I’m confident because I’ve been driving the car at this point for about an hour and it felt completely secure but he will explain the results of the MLT later on I’ll

Just leave him to do his Thing We’re going to do a quick tour what’s wrong with this one so basically it’s coming for is a hybrid oh so you work on hybrid as well um basically we’ve got a m Fe struct here needs to be changed the whole suspension arm needs to come off BM BMW

What’s here for anot all done all done so you do the work and the mlts what else do you guys do and this Mercedes here last month which was a m testing and he came in for a service yesterday and it’s du to come out today local

About 22 the total spend today was I got the car for 1,200 quid 130 to get it delivered I bought a tire for £25 um 50 Quid for MLT and that’s about it I haven’t done anything more um when the buyer comes I’ve already called up

The dvla the car hasn’t got a registered keeper so I can go ahead and tax it at the post office and that’s a top tip before you buy a car get the registration you used to be able to check it online but now you have to give

Dvla a call give them the rge and ask them if it’s got a previous keeper if it hasn’t got a previous keeper registered and it’s registered in the trade you can go ahead and tax it at the post office and that’s the plan when a perspective buyer comes down I’m going to explain

Everything to them and I’m going to go with them to the post office fill out all the paperwork in their name and that saves me having to go as an additional buyer so that’s just a top tip but for now this is where we’re going to end
