All flights suspended as large fire breaks out at London Luton Airport
Luton Airport has been closed after a fire ripped through a multi-storey car park, causing it to collapse.
Firefighters are tackling the blaze which began on Tuesday evening and appears to have destroyed hundreds of cars.
Flights have been cancelled since the fire broke out at around 9pm.
In a statement on Wednesday morning, the airport said emergency services remain at the scene and flights would be suspended until 3pm, having initially been paused until noon.

Oh Dear these new modern diesels are so prone to explosions you just cant trust them .its much better to buy a EV because the government said they are the best thing since Sliced Bread. cheap to drive cheap insurance cheap to instal in your home and more happy miles than looking for a gas station to fill up those nasty Petrol Gusling Monsters And you can make new friends whilst you wait for your Vehicle to Charge Up

According to sources from the emergency services, the source of the fire is from the Tesla charging point on the top floor of the car park Where an electric car was left on charge and overheated causing the lithium battery explode! Why you lying to people idiots!
The footage of the fire starting has been released – it was a Discovery Range Rover Sport – Diesel/Electric Hybrid. Guess which part caught fire. But of course mainstream media said it was a just a diesel, the bit that didn't actually catch fire.

My bet is that it was blocked breaks caliper which eventually caught fire. I would advise luton airport to check closely on cctv moment this car drives in

EV is another one of these situations where they won't admit they fuked up and were duped at our expense. You can play games, however, when the water is up to your nose, denying the dam failed is beyond laughable. They cannot hide the evidence, it burns too bright.
Gasoline and Diesel do not spontaneously combust. Li batteries do. Gasoline fires don't burn hot enough to melt concrete and steel. Li battery fires do. Not a rocket surgeon here, but I conclude this is one of the dangers of electric and hybrid vehicles.
