To the outside of the building I’m going to show you the communal areas and then we’re going to see a few studio types and then for anyone that’s new that joined I’m going to show you the communal areas again so you can have a look and don’t miss anything.

So let’s jump right in. So we have the city centre right here. So as you can see we are right in the centre of the city and you have all the supermarkets and high streets and you know restaurants out here so you have the nearest supermarket

Just next door which is just there which is Lidl. I’m going to spin this so you can see. Ice cream, love that. Finally the weather is nice enough, beautiful sunshine. This is the bar gate so this is the city centre and just behind the car over here is the shopping mall.

So you can go food shopping and you know meet your friends in the city centre and then we have the building right here. So this is Unilife High Street. As you can see we have a secure entry system so when you come in you will use your key card to enter the building.

Hopefully you can hear me a bit better now. You can use your key card to come in and everything is safe and secure. It’s very important for us especially in the city centre to give you safe access to your door and to your studio.

And then you can see already here that we’re doing some social events and they would always take place downstairs. So I’m going to take you there now. So this is where we have the communal facilities. So as you can see here we have the Mayboxes.

So each studio has their own individual Maybox and then through there we have the Bicycle Store. So you can see that students are storing their bikes here and you can leave them in here and then up to Southampton University it’s a very very nice bike ride.

So if you have a bike you can store it down here. Everything is safe. We have CCTV inside the entire building and communal areas so your bike is safe here and if it’s a nice day like today you can cycle up to the university.

So that would be the University of Southampton if you studied there and it’s not very far it’s only 20 minutes by bike and about 15 minutes by bus and the bus station is just outside so you will have your own mailbox with every single studio.

Right, I’m going to show you the communal area next. So again this is the common room and the gym and you use your key card to access the facilities. So let’s go to the gym next. So this is where we have the gym facilities. As you can see it’s a nice residential gym.

Very nice size to work out with your friends or not work out if you don’t want to. We have a few basic machines. So you’ve got your running machine. And then some more over here. Bicycle and you have your TV so if you want to listen to music or watch something while

You’re working out you can do that as well. And then just here we have a few different items. Some equipment for you so you can use that too. And then some weights and a nice mirror so you can make sure that you do all the exercises correctly.

And we have of course some cleaning products here so you can clean everything before you start and after you finish to make everything COVID safe. We clean the high touch points several times every single day so everything is safe and secure here as well.

Here’s your TV where you can watch movies or listen to music while you’re working out. I’m going to take you to the communal areas next. So the common room is just through here. And you can see lovely space with lots of facilities where you can welcome your friends.

So of course this is where we are hosting our social events during the year. So when you come to the university we will have a welcome party here in around October to make sure that you know all the new students and you can meet your neighbours and make some friends.

And then we have the pool table here. These facilities are always open so you’re very welcome to come down here 24 7. We have a massive TV screen so you can watch movies with your friends and we also have a study area.

So if you have any group work to do and your friends are coming over to prepare for presentations you can meet them down here. You’re very welcome to invite any friends even non-unilever residents. And then we have the printer right here which you can obviously see.

You know this is free and unlimited so you can print as much as you need and you’re very supported during your studies. So if you have any coursework to do that requires you to print you don’t need to go all the way up to the university although it’s very nearby.

It’s very nice to have this right down here. And then we have the PlayStation down here as well. So you can also play PlayStation on this massive screen. It’s just in there and we have all the games that you can possibly wish for.

And yeah this is a very nice space to chill with your friends and meet some new people as well. You can leave some questions in the comments as well and you homes will be very happy to assist and help you with any questions that you might have.

I’m going to show you these once again. And then I’m going to take you up to the studio next so we can have a look at the Premium Plus Studio first. And down below on the Golden House you can see all the different studio types and have

A look around the facilities yourself as well. Then another thing that I wanted to mention is if you lose your keycard you can find new ones in here. So we have an emergency phone number that you can call 24 7 and we will give you the

Code to this box and you can collect your new keycard from here in case you need a new one. And we can help you with that every single day, every single night. So don’t be afraid to be locked out of your studio. We are here to help you.

Right, I’m going to go upstairs to the studio now to the first floor. If anyone has just joined we are at Unilife High Street right in the city centre and we have a lovely day and we are just in the city centre and the shopping mall is just there.

So you can see that too. Right, I’m at the studio now so this is the first one I’m going to show you. Now I’m going to change the room type on the Golden House in the corner just below. So I’m now in the Premium Plus Studio.

So you can see that in the Golden House in the corner I think you can select the room types as well. So this is what the Premium Plus Studio looks like. Very nice and spacious and I will show you some of the different facilities.

So you’ve got your studio entrance here and then you have the CCTV camera where you can see how, you know, if anyone is ringing your studio number or you have any deliveries you can speak to them, you can work on them and you can also let them into the building.

So if you have any passes that are being delivered this is how you can open the door for them and you can also mute in case you don’t want to be disturbed. Then right to your studio door you have your kitchen with lots of appliances and lots of space.

So you have your storage cupboards here, you have your hob which is electric, fridge with freezer, microwave with oven inside as well. So I’m going to show you inside of the fridge. So you can see it’s a very nice size, helps you to keep your food fresh for longer and

Then you have the freezer in here as well. And it’s also a very nice size to store some pizza and ice cream and then you can prepare them right in the oven down here. The microwave has a 3 in 1 function so it’s not just a microwave, it’s also an oven and

A grill. So you can also bake, you know, cake in here or some delicious lasagna if you can and you have all the options here to choose different degrees and then you can start cooking right away. And then you have some space down here for all your cooking items and some more space

Up here for any other items that you might need. And the supermarket is right next door so you have the best location in the city of Southampton. And then you have your hob here which is very practical because you have the two different plates, different sizes. I don’t know if you can see.

This one is slightly bigger, this one is slightly smaller. And then you also have a timer here which will help you keep track of time in case you forget your meal, you will not burn it.

You can make sure to set the timer and the hob will turn off so you don’t burn your food. You have more space here for your cutlery and then some storage down there for any drinks or food that you might buy.

You have your dining table that comes with a dining chair and a table and you can also have friends over. We can give you more chairs if you want. And you have your desk with your desk chair too. I’ll show you the size of it.

It’s a very spacious desk and the desk chair is very comfortable. I was working here today so you can see, you can sit here for a long time if you have a lot of university work to do and you have a lot of space up there.

And then some space to personalise your own pinboard with some pictures of your friends and family if you miss them. But you also have the Uni Life social events to help you distract and relax your mind from the busy studies. Then you have the bed, I’m going to show you here.

Because we have a lot of international students, you have plenty of under bed storage here. You can store your suitcases and boxes in there. You have your TV and the TV comes with TV license and Netflix. So you can watch all the TV programmes that the UK has to offer and also international

TV on Netflix if you want to. And then a comfy chair that you can move around the studio wherever you would like it. All the beds are double beds. So you can see the mattress is very very big. It’s not a single tiny bed. You can store some items just above your bed.

So that’s very convenient to have that right there. I want to show you the wardrobe as well because it’s so big and spacious. And you have space to hang your clothes and also to fold them if you prefer. So you have a big shelf for your clothes over there.

And then a full body mirror where you can check your outfit before you leave your studio before you meet your friends. So that’s very nice. So you have that here. Very spacious. More space under the bed if you have anything that you don’t need every day.

And then the premium plus studio also has its own bathroom. So light and bright. You can see the bathroom. It’s very clean and shiny. Very bright. Big light in here. Nice big mirror cabinet to store all your items for your facial care. Any washing products that you might want to use.

This clean glass shower. So that helps you to keep your studio clean very easily rather than having a washing shower curtain. The water pressure can be adjusted on the overhead shower. The temperature can be adjusted here. And your standard shower is nice and big. It’s a very nicely sized shower.

And then you have some space for your towers on here and also on your door. And you can also lock the door. So these studios are perfect for couples in case you are sharing the studio with someone or you have a friend coming over. You can lock the door as well.

And then you have a nice shiny bathroom. Toilet. And a nice big mirror in here as well. So you can check your makeup if you’re a girl or if you’re a boy. You can check that in here before you go and meet your friends.

Okay, now I’m going to give you another overview of the studio. Just like that. All the Premium Plus studios are facing the high street. So you will always have a view outside. You will have a lot of windows. They’re very big and they let in a lot of light.

So this is the Premium Plus studio. Now I’m going to show you the standard studio. So that is the perfect option to share with your friends. So bear with me for a second. I’m just going to go upstairs to the second floor and show you. Right, I’m now in front of the studio.

So again, I’m going to access it with my key card. Show you everything is safe. Now I’m going to change on the Golden House just down below in the corner. I’m going to change the studio type which is the standard studio. So you should be able to see that in the category below.

And as you can see, the difference is that you have two bedrooms. Bedroom 1, bedroom 2 and two bathrooms. Bedroom 1, bathroom 2. Now as you walk in, so this is your studio door. You can see you have the same facilities, the video intercom, where you can see the person downstairs.

Everything is safe and secure. You can open the door for them and you can mute the door if you don’t want to be disturbed. You can see the kitchen is a little bit bigger than in the studio because we have two fridges number 1 and number 2 with a freezer inside as well.

The microwave again, it’s a 3 in 1 oven. So you can cook all your favorite meal and you can even bake some cake or lasagna if you want to. There’s a little bit more space in the kitchen compared to the studio because it’s for two people.

So you have a lot of space here. And you have two fridges with the freezer as well rather than just one. So that’s one of the differences. Again you have the hob with two different cooking plates and then a dining area which

Is the same size again as in the studio but you have a little bit more space for your friends. Now I’m going to show you bedroom number 1. Another difference that you can see is that you don’t have a bathroom in this one because it’s a standard studio.

You have your own bathroom in the premium studio. In this one you have your wardrobe. So as you walk in, I’m going to show you the layout. You can see you have your bed, TV and study desk and then some more space in case you need it.

And your wardrobe is the same size as in the studio before. And again you have a nice full body mirror where you can check your outfit before you meet your friends. You can again hang your clothes or have them folded. And the layout in here is the same as in the studio.

So you have your desk chair, very comfy. Desk very spacious. Lots of storage. To personalise your studio you have your own pin board so you can put up pictures of your friends and family back home. And again you have a double bed for yourself and lots of storage for any items that you

Might want to bring with you. You have your TV so you can watch your favourite shows. Netflix is included and you also have unlimited utility bills in here. So your electricity you don’t have to pay for, your water you don’t have to pay for. Everything is included for you.

The other studio, so we’re back in the kitchen now. This is a two bedroom apartment. So you also have another bedroom which you can see in here. And they are the same size as the one before. So you can see you have another chair in here.

You have your desk with shelves, space to personalise, to store your items. Very comfortable desk chair. TV with storage and then we have nice big windows in this one. Lovely weather today in the UK in Southampton. And a big spacious bed with space to store all your items.

Again your wardrobe in here with the shelf and the mirror and also some space to hang your items if you want to. Now I’m going to show you the bathroom. I can see some questions there coming in.

I think that you homes will help you answer the questions but I can also see if I can include some of them. So someone says very chic, looks nice, love the mattress, looks fab. We have some rooms facing the south.

So I’ve seen that someone asked if there’s rooms facing the south as well. So as you can see the weather is so nice today. You are overlooking the high street. We have some studios that are facing the south as well.

And we can also make sure that you have a room with a very nice view. So if you want to stay with us at UniLife then we can make sure that we give you a studio with lots of sunlight.

So the bedroom I’ve just shown you, the bedroom I’ve just shown you and now we have two bathrooms. In the standard studio you have one bathroom with the shower and one room with the toilet. Oh I’m stuck. I’m stuck. There we go. So shower and the sink.

And then we have another bathroom with the sink and the toilet. So that’s very convenient. If someone is having a shower you can still use the toilet and you don’t have to wait for them to leave the bathroom which is very nice.

So that gives you more space for yourself and your friend to share. Now the next studio I want to show you is the premium studio. So I’m going to take you upstairs and show you that one on the third floor and there’s also the laundry.

So bear with me in case the signal drops when I’m on the stairs. Oh by the way we have a lift as well. So if you prefer to use a lift you can do that. But I’ll be faster on the stairs. Right. The next studio I’m showing you is the premium studio.

So I’ll change that in the room category on the golden house below. Again I’m entering it with my key card to make sure everything is safe and convenient for you to enter. And now I’m going to start with an overview of the studio.

So you can see the premium studio is slightly smaller than the premium plus studio. It’s around 19 to 18 square meters and the layout is very similar to the other room. It’s just that it’s a bit more narrow rather than wide.

So if you prefer a more spacious option I can show you again the premium plus studio downstairs. But this one is also a standard option that we offer for single occupancy because it’s perfectly spacious. Again you have a big mirror, lots of lights coming in and you have your space in here.

So I’ll start with the kitchen. I’ll take a step back so you can see better. This is your studio entrance door. Again you have your video intercom here so you can let your friends in and you have space to store all your items, cooking items.

You have your fridge with a freezer inside so your food lasts longer. As I’ve mentioned the supermarket is just next door so you can buy fresh food from there every single day. You have your microwave here. So the microwave also has an oven and grill function.

So you can also see on here you can change the temperature settings and you can grill and use the convection function as well to even bake some cake if you want to. We had some students bring us muffins. Fine.

And then you have more space down here to store all your favourite cooking items and more up there. Your sink and again the different cooking plates with different sizes to make sure you can also cook for more people if you want to.

And then you have your dining table with two or one chairs however you prefer. And then you have your study desk with very comfortable desk chair, super spacious desk and a lot of space to store all your items for the university work.

And you have your space here to personalise your studio with some pictures of your friends and family if you want to. Very comfortable chair in case you want to watch some TV or just relax. And we have the Netflix on there and you can also watch the national UK TV.

And also again a double mattress size so it’s not a small single bed, it’s a double bed so makes the room a lot more spacious and comfortable for you to sleep. And you have your space to store all your items and your wardrobe.

So again I’m trying to take a step back to show you the whole size of it so you can see you have some space to hang your clothes and also to fold your clothes if you prefer.

And once again you have a nice full body mirror to check your outfit before you leave to meet your friends. And we can close this, have the bathroom in here. So again very nice, very light and spacious white bright bathroom.

So again you have a nice big mirror to prepare yourself to leave your studio. You have your sink and toilet and then you have your mirror cabinet here to store any washing or cleaning items that you might need. And then you have your shower.

Again the overhead shower pressure can be adjusted and this can also be adjusted temperature and the shower is very nice and spacious for you to use. And then you have another towel rail here for your towel and some more hooks for your bathrobes if you want to use them.

I’m stuck again if you want to use them. Again your video intercom so you can open the door for the people downstairs and you can also speak to them and see them before you let them in. Right, I’m going to go back downstairs to show you the entrance and the outside of the

Building once again and we can see if we have any questions you can leave them here and we have some people in the comments answering them for you as well. One thing I forgot to say is we have the laundry up here so I’ll just show you that room. There we go.

It’s not the most interesting room to see but I think it’s very good to know that we have it. So you have your washing machine here and your drying machine here and they are massive machines so they are very very very big so to make sure that you don’t have to do your

Laundry that often you can only wash them a few times a month if you want. You have a huge drum to wash all your clothes in there and you even have a guide that can help you make the laundry work although it’s very very easy there’s just five simple steps

For you to get the washer to work and we even give you laundry credits before you move in so if you use them wisely you should never have to pay for your laundry. Another thing that’s very helpful is we have Henry the Hoover on each floor you might not

Know these actually this is the Hoover so if you want to clean your studio you can use Henry and he will help you keep your studio clean so that’s very nice and I’ll show you the outside area once again and again we also have communal areas where we do our events

So next week we have Tea Day so there’s always something fun happening at UniLife. I’ll show you the view again so if you have a studio on the third floor this is what your view looks like you are right on the high street amazing location right in the city center you

Can order your food from Deliveroo or you can buy your own if you prefer there’s an ice cream shop there there’s an Asian restaurant there just across the street which is really really good and then we have more restaurants in here right let me take you back downstairs

Okay right here we are again downstairs in the entrance area of UniLife and I hope that you enjoyed the tour I’m going to show you outside once again so you can have a look around and oh

There’s some students coming let me just take them in hello how are you good very good thank you okay so as you can see we already have some residents living here as well you’re going back

Out okay see you later bye so yeah as you can see the shopping is just next door so they’ve just gone into the shops now actually I’ll show you so you can see the location so this is the nearest

Supermarket and we are just on the high street out there you have sprinkles which is an ice cream ice cream and waffle store and then we have the bar gate so this is the center and that is where

You have the shopping mall so shopping is very very close as you can see so close you can just leave your items here for a few seconds and yeah common areas are just down here I can show you them again and then we can finish the tour downstairs

So again we have the bikes and the mailboxes just through here so you can see and then the bike storage is just in there so you can receive your mail you know your passes they are just up here

Usually the delivery people have the code to come in so they don’t need the key card and they can leave your passes and then you have your common room and gym gym just show you the gym again this is where you have the gym you can do your workouts you have some

You have the gym you can do your workouts you have some machines you have your tv and mirror hey and mirror and then some of the products in here as I said earlier you have some cleaning products in there so you can keep everything safe and clean before and after you use it

But we also clean the building and heighted surfaces several times a day so that is all safe and secure lastly I’m going to show you the common room again very nice common room where you can meet friends and you can make some new friends

You can also study so if you have some group work to do you can invite your friends over and make sure that you complete it together if you want to all your friends are welcome at uni life

So feel free to invite them and then you have the printer here where you can print unlimited again the location here is amazing you’re right in the city center so Southampton University is about 15 minutes from here so you don’t want to go there every time you need to print so uni life

Offers you free unlimited printing and when you’re done with your university coursework you can use the playstation that we have in here so you can use the tv screen to play some games the playstation is just in there and as I said before your friends are welcome to join you so you have

A lot of space to accommodate all your friends and if you’re tired of the tv you can play some pool as well so yeah that was the tour so far so I hope that you enjoyed the tour and if you can leave some
