    1. Y'all like how they copied a pirates of the caribbean song at the end? The vocalizations are very similar to a pirates of the caribbean song. Its called underwater march at 3:30 or around there.

    2. I know alot of people are calling him "too soft", but personally, I couldn't ask for a more perfect ending. Dealing with everything and wrapping up a character like Kratos should be almost impossible, But they did it. From a monster to a father.

    3. I know they can do another GOW game because of the money this saga makes, but from a narrative perspective, as I like to see all stories, this is the perfect ending for the character. No need to continue at all. I like when things have an ending, and I like it even more when it's so well-rounded, written and perfect as this one.

    4. Honestly wish they touched on how Kratos is so pale…I mean killing your daughter and wife in a fit of rage sounds like something he needs to work out mentally also but they never mention it.

    5. They put wayyyyyyy too much effort into story telling in a free dlc lol. I would like to see a 70$ rouge experience from Santa Monica since that was actually good if they added more rng aspects to how the maps and enemies appear and maybe make different gauntlets like the final boss be a different boss depending on certain routes you take during the run. Would be insane if you fought Hercules or Alrik we need a 70$ rogue bad the gow combat is too good not to have that.

    6. The lighting was absolutely beautiful. When he takes the throne, one humble compared to the past, just like him, the sunlight illuminates Kratos and gives him back his human color. The ash of his family, a constant reminder of his sins, is replaced with a truly human tone. He has finally broken free of his own prison; even if the ash remains on his skin, it no longer shackles his soul.

    7. Something that I'm glad about is that Kratos didn't fight his former-self. I feel like the developers were contemplating this, having him fight his former self would be an act of overcoming who he once was and seeing how ruthless and arrogant he really was fighting him. But I think that path of over-coming himself wasn't the point because he technically already did overcome that he was a self-righteous cruel God. This was more about accepting that he was that and that he is more than what he was and how it was always complex. There were many choices that Kratos could've chosen throughout his journey, but he chose the ones that he thought were the best in his eyes regardless of morals because that was all he knew in the Olympus era. Now that he's wiser, he doesn't need to fight it but accept that he was that way but he can now rest knowing that he was always and will always be more.

Everybody has told him that he can never overcome what he did, that he is always the monster that he came out to be. But people forget that he sacrificed himself and found hope and released it into the world to rebuild. I think he also forgot that about himself too because he was so clouded by his regrets and guilt. This DLC was truly something we needed. Of course, the Ragnarok ending with his mural as his destiny was great to see, but seeing him reconcile within himself is even better. He always listened to what other people said about him, now he can finally have a word for himself. All he needed was a massive… therapy session.

    8. We as fans are divided in our hearts about Kratos. A majority of the fan base loves the character building of this new Dad of War, but there's that bit of Frustration, animosity, stress, Anger…Unyielding rage, that affects us all and makes us Miss the Ghost of Sparta. The Kratos of Old.
Seeing young Kratos in this scene.. it gave me an idea, something I'd personally like.. Kratos, the original God of War, the Greek God killer – if there's anyone to stop "current Kratos", it's him. The timelines of the events of Olympus and the Norse World are so far apart that it makes both characters seem like entirely different people. If by some means, someone could bring back the Old Kratos to stop Current Kratos, I'd love a massive showdown like that. Ofcourse current Kratos wins but not easily, hell not even fairly… The wisdom and better knowledge of his own weaknesses should be what Current Kratos uses to Kill the Ghost of Sparta. He cannot do it with brute strength or power. But doing that accomplishes two things… It seals off the History of Kratos to focus on this new direction. And for fans, it shows them that their beloved killing machine from Olympus cannot be defeated by pure strength and skill alone. He is still the top of the food chain.. But who he has become holds a mental and emotional edge over his former him.
I think that would really bridge the gap between characters and help people become alot more accepting of the new direction. Just my 2 cents

    9. Old Kratos should have fought the younger self for closure. It would have been epic be4 the compromise. All well and good. Nice one I believe it will be the selling point for the next game. Gj
