Woke up early and sanded down frame & fork, then hung and hosed off. Took everything I had not to wipe down with mineral spirits but read that’s a really bad idea.
When these are dry will wipe of the waterspots, tape, and start shooting primer!

quick update – the Alien Glow paint I bought is not colored at all, is a clear topcoat so finish was not at all what I was expecting. I was also painting outside and it was a really spotty and streaked finish, looked like someone put it on with a bbq mop. I think that stuff needs to be shot professionally in a booth to look even remotely good, and even then after two cans the effects were -meh- at best. Like I said, I don’t think that particular paint is a driveway DIY kind of thing.
I’ve ordered different paints and will be trying again when weather permits (it got cold on us again. Gotta love Ohio!). Will post more pics when that happens, but this round was massive fail.
