This year’s big event that we took part in. A selfsupported rally that starts in Torino, Italy and pushes into the Alps whereafter you cycle slowly down towards Nice, all through the high cols and stradas in the mountains. Although we couldn’t follow the official route due to technical problems after the first mountains, we had an adventure of our own.

Many thanks to all the organisers! And of course Wilderness Trail Bikes for supporting this years event. It couldn’t have been planned better.

Met so many great people and made so many good connections. Need to get my ass in more of these events.

I was riding a fully rigid Surly Ogre 2017 and Karin rode a Radon ZR Lady mtb. Both bikes were around 19-20kg’s in total weight with gear. The distance we travelled and the altitudes we conquered ultimately don’t matter. We got high, we went far, we enjoyed every last bit of it.

I filmed this on a Panasonic Lumix G7 with the kit 12-142mm lens.

Music is Pietnastka – Tape Eater.
