Good morning we’re walking around in mostar in bosnia and we’re looking for the famous bridge built by the ottomans in the 1500s and then it was destroyed in the civil war and then it was reconstructed again quite recently 2004 was it was completed in 2004 yeah yeah and also the old town

The old town as well so here it is the bridge we came for in bosnia herzegovina it’s quite amazing huh beautiful place beautiful surroundings yeah we’re almost ready to leave monster to start uh to actually gonna backtrack a little bit uh maybe 35 kilometers or something and then we’re gonna turn

And head towards dubrovnik i know i think it will be two days of cycling to reach dubrovnik that’s my guess it’s uh 150 kilometers so yeah maybe two maybe three we’ll see Hello so it’s a birdhaven i just spotted a kingfisher as well one of my favorite birds i saw it four times we couldn’t get to it with my camera yeah so today we cycle for 50 kilometers plain level tailwinds it was nice cycling easy but we know that we eventually

Can start to climb and now we’ve climbed for five kilometers i don’t know how many height meters but uh yeah maybe four or five hundred meters high or something at the top we met the bosnian police and uh we had a chat they were super friendly

And we talked a little about about the trip and everything so yeah nice meeting people friendly people after beating track yes we’re on our way to dubrovnik i think it’s still a good uh i don’t know 80 kilometers left to prove me so we won’t reach it today

But we’ll try to push on as much as we can today and uh hopefully find a uh wild camping spot because i mean there is some rain on us today but it’s not like the the previous uh two three days that you saw in the previous video so hopefully we can find that

Alright let’s go oh how beautiful it is here it’s uh it’s different it’s a different side of bosnia oh it’s quite cold today actually was it 14 degrees 30. 13.3 13.3 and a little rain yeah abandoned houses yeah we’re cycling on here a little rain we did uh 75 kilometers today so far

Yeah i think we’ll cycle on for maybe 30 one hour unless we find a really good uh spot to put up the camp which sure looks easier here we made a little stop here at this beautiful beautiful landscape and this viewing point that we have of uh of bosnia here we’ve been cycling

We’ve been following these uh mountains actually cycling all over and yeah now we’re here and it’s uh it’s not many cars it’s really relaxed it’s really quiet really enjoyable but uh yeah it’s getting um it’s getting to the point where we need to find a wild camp so i think we’ll

Continue on now and hopefully we’ll find something uh soon it would also be nice to have something warm to eat so we’re gonna cook a little pasta uh when we find somewhere to cut yeah let’s go it’s nice doesn’t it [Applause] this is the cycling route we’re following now towards dubrovnik

It’s uh as you can see 63.5 kilometers left and uh yeah it’s really good so far good signs to tell you where to go so it’s always appreciated he wants to play yeah so we started to see these signs on certain certain areas especially on the left side of this track now

And i think uh it’s a warning sign for mines i’m not sure how to check that out but uh i think it is so definitely yeah be careful but it’s not like it’s possible to go walk in there either so yeah we’re up to uh 34 34 84 kilometers so far and uh

Yeah it’s really time to start to find the campsite now but this this uh trail here is going like on the slope of the mountain so there’s not really much to to set up the camp here either so i have to push a little bit a little bit further what about this place

No too small filled with crap yes swallow nest okay yeah damn just worried about these floors for safety you can really hear that they are of course there is also the Thing here if you put the tent here okay it’s not a big shelter but there’s a look yeah maybe we should just sleep down there yeah this will be my uh sleeping uh place just on my mouse over there but number down yeah this will be

The site for the night now i need to cook something and then put up a tent i think you never know where you’re going to sleep so keep the cooking going on Now i’m using my primus good morning i just want to quickly show you where we slept last night we found this um abandoned uh house building this is where we slept this is where i slept [Applause] out of the rain this is where tons looked

Also out of the rain rain no tent not necessary for me no tent here you can also see the difference because 10 ton has the two main tent it didn’t fit because he brought his whole apartment was me i just brought my bedroom and it fits this yeah but there is a difference

Yeah we stopped for a coffee here at this uh very beautiful place it’s actually the old railway station that used to wear the train used to go to vienna and it started i think it was 1903 ended in 1976 so that’s that’s what we’re the the old railway

That we have been cycling on now so that’s quite cool and uh yeah ordered the coffee and the very friendly gentleman here also gave us a little uh grappa because it’s tradition to have some grappa when you stop over here so yeah it’s quite early in the morning

But yeah it was delicious and uh and it’s uh very locally made yeah from from the valley hero i guess this is uh results from the war i guess looks yeah really torn apart hello cow hello hello hello cow hello yes back into croatia nice weather to entertain let’s go

Oh yes it’s raining in the bruvenic this is our little place for the night as we dry our stuff once again we finally got some sunshine back Damn it feels nice Well it’s uh 10 o’clock here in dubrovnik and um We did just a small city walk here in the morning because yesterday when we arrived it was just raining as hell and we were wet so we didn’t even go out in the evening and we’re continuing on today so today we will continue south and we will maybe reach montenegro

And that will be fun it will be fun to have something different again because it feels like we’ve been in croatia for quite some time even though we went a quick trip to bosnia but yeah we should get back to our bikes and start today soon

Do you think it will rain on us sunshine behind rain clouds up ahead and quite a climb my horse in the middle of the climb there is a border to montenegro new country yeah excited can you see the sunshine we are in montenegro it’s a new country everything feels so different just when

You pass the the border even though everything still looks the same just feels different bye yeah yes we found this apartment tonight and uh the guys who we are staying at is just amazing thanks you’re welcome he brought us a bottle of wine beer some peanuts and then he asked if we

Were hungry so we brought us a bowl each of uh a pasta oh man it’s nice and it’s just by the sea here happy man Good morning first morning in montenegro today we’re going to continue along the coast The city of putwa and check it out supposed to be something like 40 kilometers to cycle there the ferry to cross over the water somewhere and uh yeah as you can see there’s uh no rain today and it’s not supposed to rain today either so yeah i’m really happy about that because

It’s been a lot of rain lately yeah here’s what here’s the guy who fed us last night and uh also brought us some beer and wine yeah it was amazing and we’re super happy about that yeah thanks a lot man so it’s a beautiful apartment as well i mean look at this view

Yeah thanks such a beautiful start to this day i mean just cycling by the ocean the sun is out it’s no rain no rain pants no rain jackets the beautiful scenery yeah that’s good nice occasional car [Applause] here’s the ferry crossing i’m gonna go over to the other side

Well i took something a little different but a little uh second breakfast we’re just cycling about we found a little turtle hello turtle this road is unfortunately quite busy which really takes away the enjoyment of it the beautiful view thousand years Good morning uh we’re in budva where we spend the night at this uh place and we wanted to stay a little bit longer in budva so we could check out the old town and and i also wanted to see the sweden playing greece yesterday that we won with two zeros so that’s good

Um yeah i mean montenegro’s not the biggest country so we’re we’re been here for two days i think and um we’re going to the albanian border and i’m not sure if we will reach it today though because it’s uh 80 kilometers and uh supposed to be a thousand height

Meters to to climb as well so yeah today or tomorrow we will reach albania let’s go so the little island out there is called i mean i’m not the only island but this place is called uh swetie stefan looks nice but we don’t gonna investigate further we’re gonna keep on going up

Isn’t that right that’s completely right yeah stuff and some rain stuff like things i want to access quickly yeah some food Long long time Going seven kilometers an hour what you saw earlier there was a french couple that was cycling around for two months in slovenia croatia italy and they were gonna take the ferry over to italy today and uh cycle around a little bit on sicily i think before flying to chile start cycling in chile

It’s nice to meet fellow cyclists to have a chat yeah good luck to to them see here we are pretty close to the albanian border there it’s 40 kilometers left to this city in albania so we’re going to try to wild camp somewhere here before the border today

We circled uh 45 kilometers and it’s 40 to go to that area so yeah weather is uh quite good i mean it’s not super hot it’s not cold so yeah it’s good i found our wild camping spot it’s very close to the border to albania which is good

We want to enter there tomorrow here somewhere i think we’ll manage to find two bed spots so so so oh good morning mate good morning how are you mate that’s good it’s quite windy sorry it’s quite windy today yeah not much not much did you take it

Out no i didn’t yeah i was like uh i don’t think it’s gonna be any wind Because it was so uh quiet yesterday and then just picked up as you can see as you can see arrested albanian border it was uh almost seven kilometers here not to see here albania oh bunker already uh let’s go this way huh travelers travelers yeah we’re now cycling in albania a new country

There’s a lot of corn in there harvested apples watermelons bamboo Yeah it looks like it’s because we don’t have any uh we don’t have any cash yet so today we’re going to cycle into uh the city of what’s the name skoda skodar and it’s not far away it’s only 13 kilometers left so two and a half 25 kilometers kilometers

Today and then we’ll check around in the city it’s supposed to be nice and i will also do some editing and tomorrow we’ll probably continue to the coast and follow the albanian coast because uh it’s supposed to be really nice and uh wild camping is allowed and there’s not

Much tourists so we’re really looking forward to some to some really nice uh wild camping spots uh by the ocean uh yeah we’ve both been looking forward to this so hope we really hope that albania lives up to the reputation it has so uh yeah let’s go see what i bought

Three different apples to Mandarins clementines i don’t know the english word and the fanta and it was uh yeah i paid one euro like 1.1 euro for it quite affordable that’s a lot they only said six weeks soon sweden going down south so we’re probably cycling until like we somewhere

And then the roads will split because i will go to asia and he will go to south africa so yeah so will you cycle to south africa yeah and how long it will take you to be there i don’t know maybe i have a year to do it so

If it’s a little bit long then maybe i’ll catch you somewhere there around there yeah after i finish staying i will uh go for one month or two it’s been three years No the end point for me is cape town probably yeah nice to meet you man yeah did you see that uh amazing guy we just met salah he was from uh algeria and he’s been already cycling for three years that’s crazy i mean he said it was gonna cycle for another 10. wow

That’s crazy that’s so long time but he was just amazing guy full with energy and uh it was nice to have a chat with him and we wish him uh the best of luck in tailwinds for the rest of the trip and uh hope to see him again sometime That’s where we’re going today hello so some big pieces missing here So we’re in skoda city somewhere pretty close to the center we’re going to try to find a local uh restaurant to try some hopefully some local cuisine and yeah this is where we’ll stay for the night and i will edit this episode and i will uh continue on tomorrow so thanks for watching

I hope you liked it please leave a comment it’s very nice i like it to read comments and please like and subscribe thanks a lot see you later

    1. Thank you for sharing 🙂 How would you rate the drivers in each country up to now, although there doesn't seem to be much traffic. Also, which front rack are you using? Cheers and good luck !

    2. another very interesting episode…the more you ride to the south, the more it is interesting because most I know most of the countries by name but not by experience. And I think people in the southern have a bigger kind of hospitality to foreign people… take care of you both…

    3. 2:41. Oohh. That looks scary.
2:59. Ha! Yes! My thoughts exactly. =D.
12:00. Seeing these abandoned houses, thinking about who might have lived there, and what they might have experienced. It looks like a beautiful property that they had to leave. So very sad.
Oh my gosh. Dubrovnik is absolutely stunning. I had no idea.
22:00. Oh my goooosh, so beautiful!

    6. Hi Patrick, it looks you had a good time. Nice countries you cycled through, I might go that way next year. I cycled to Slovenia in 2019 and had to go back. Those other countries look nice also. Thank you and I'm looking forward to your next video.

    7. keep up the great work, I really enjoy the raw feeling of your videos, it gives me the feeling of being there, while in real life I can only afford one day, autumn trips

Be safe 🤗☀️

    10. You are making very quality videos. Very simple way but very interesting and like that you do it for some TV show.
