The Huns’ origin is a little complicated topic, and historians don’t usually come to a single conclusion. All the origin stories that we have are speculation based on archaeological, and other evidence as we discussed in the last video. But what we have, that almost all the historians agree on, are the events that took place after their appearance around 370. Contemporary authors of the Roman empire as well as the authors from other places give us accounts of the Huns, that are enough to create a narrative of what was the overall picture of the Huns after their arrival. Although historians would have treasured the written records from the Hun’s point of view, but now that we do not have them, we have to manage with all that we have. I hope you will enjoy this summary of the events that took place between their arrival and Atilla’s rise to power.

    1. Usually Goths flee from approaching daylight and make their stand upon the landscaping around Peet's Coffee. Grotty little sticks. 🎉

    2. Ah… Another Western propaganda about the Huns (Not your video but your sources were all one sided exagerated propagandas). Calling them barbarians without looking what they were doing at the time. I just watched a BBC documentary about Attila. He was jumping on the fire … Lol.

Think why Arab couldn't make voyage before.

    6. It is bizarre to show Hungary with the 1920 borders as a possible settlement of the Huns. Probably, no one would have chosen an area so impossible to defeat. Rather, the mountains and great rivers of the Carpathian basin served for the Huns as natural borders.

    7. Historians get one thing wrong about the hun

The hun were a white caucasian people of the central Asian steppe Chinese records describe the hun as sandy haired with green an blue eyes

Attila had blonde hair a green eyes and a roman nose definitely not mongoloid

,many white nomadic tribes lived on the central Asian steppe before migrating west wards

    8. People need to stop showing Asiatic people's when talking about the
      Hun
      Allan's
      Tartars
Kurgan an many more aryan peoples from central Asia
White nomadic people left burial grounds from western china to the Caucasus mountains

An dna testing has been done on hun remains showing caucasian origin

You didn't cover the blonde hun who inter married into the eastern German tribes

    9. 3:44 This painting shows Cossacs fighting against Tatars in the 17th century in nowadays Ukraine. You can even see that the first Cossac on the left has a firearm.

    10. My hometown was Pavia, Lombardia and totally-destroyed by Attila. Funny story…I was once on FB, and wrote "Italians hate the memory of Attila the Hun". Well…FB put me in FB-jail, for "expressing hate speech"!! haaaaaa…. No reason to remain on FB after that idiocy 🙂 buona fortuna. this is a VERY-good History Channel…subbed/liked
