My heartbreaking video about leaving Ukraine.

Iβve ridden my bicycle across UKRAINE on two separate occasions. Once during the winter of 2012… and once during the Russian occupation of Crimea in 2014.
I’ve since traveled back to Ukraine on several occasions without my bicycle. In fact, my last international trip was a month and a half of travel in Ukraine! It’s one of my favorite countries in the world; I have dozens of friends there; and was even thinking of buying property in the country at one point in time.
Because of what’s happening in Ukraine right now… I thought it would be good to share one of the first videos I ever made for my YouTube channel – a short video about an encounter I had with an animal in Ukraine.
Now, I originally published this video on my channel back in 2012, but I know that a lot of you havenβt seen this video, so Iβm going to republish it for you here today. This heartbreaking video has resonated with a lot of my followers and I still get comments and emails about this video on a regular basis.
What I like about this video so much is that it demonstrates one of the many struggles Iβve had as an international traveler. The video shows how easy it is sometimes, to recognize a problem in the world, but that finding a solution to that problem, or knowing what to do personally, isnβt always as easy to figure out.
So, without further ado. Here is my video⦠about Ukraine.
