Hello Eric, petit site supplémentaire qui pourrait t'intéresser : l'Observatoire Vélo IDF, qui recense l'avancée de réalisation du réseau et les lieux oú les boomers en SUV bloquent.
That's a very good analysis! I find the news signs to be visually pleasing but I agree that they don't seem functional at night… I wonder if they will make the writing retro-reflective instead of the background?
Otherwise I would much rather they stick to national guidelines. Imagine if every place in the country had different road signs! Getting around without a GPS would be a mess…
I've re-watched your first video! I had forgotten how insanely complicated the governance is throughout so many districts and levels of government. I'm a million Ks away in Australia so I can't comment on current Paris World. I hope that the signage system goes through an intelligent shakedown phase and ends up being easy to use. The signage looks aesthetically pleasing so far but the proof is out in the real, crazy world. Nigh time efficacy doesn't seem there yet. It's fascinating watching unending efforts to make people's lives better. Bon courage from Oz!

In the netherlands we use lit up signs at night time to show it all, also i gotta say it’s a little confusing and chaotic to find the route 😅
What if Paris painted all the major cycling corridors in light blue? The same shade of blue that is present on the IDFM liveries of the trains & buses of Paris.
This way Paris will have a very unique feature of having blue color cycling paths, similar to how Amsterdam has a red-ish color cycling paths
