    1. Super silent engine. The central cylinder should be as hot as possible, perhaps eliminating cooling, have a reduced stroke to reduce acceleration and friction, be coated with catalyst elements, and use a lightweight piston and connecting rod due to lower pressure.

    2. Just another idea: instead of using a third cylinder, use a blower on the exhaust with the same objective of using the remaining energy in the exhaust gases.

    3. Interesting how you can increase the complexity of fossil fuel engines. The existing ones are already close to a nightmare. I remember that there is a >90% efficiency engine, that is terribly simple, exists for about two centuries and does not burn fossil fuel…it was…yes!

    4. Very clever, it's easentially it seems to me the same concept as the power recovery turbines on the wright turbo-compound radial engines, where the exhaust spun a turbine that turned a shaft and put that power directly back into the crank…

    6. You could probably get away with heating the intake with the exhaust since you have the extra expansion. The problem with doing this on regular engines is it effectively increases the compression ratio by increasing the temperature of the air without increasing the expansion ratio. So more work is done to compress the air without actually getting that work back through expansion. This has shown to increase the efficiency of turbine engines.

    7. I think the Argentinian pendulum engine is the best non mass produced engine variant. Oil isn’t required because there is no friction and 100% goes to turning the crankshaft instead of rubbing the cylinder wall

    8. Such products say more about the tenacity of the inventor than about the effectiveness of the invention. And in the end it is proved: in general more disadvantages, and the advantage only in special conditions.
