    1. I used to work at Carvers builders merchants back in 1994 – almost 30 years ago, was my first full time job – nice to see it still going – never realised back then about the canal running right past it. Thats the second time you've been right by places I used to work, so amazing really, those places were both right next to canals. The next place I worked after Carvers was on Kelvin Way trading estate which backs onto the BCN as well. Used to live in Wolverhampton throughout the 1990s, not far from Sedgley beacon which I'm sure you'll be visiting in due course.
Nice videos always so relaxing to watch and always bring back memories of the time I lived down that way. My local canal is the Trent and Mersey now in Stoke on Trent, and I have enjoyed walking that canal – there is always something so peaceful about walking canals, often in their own tranquil little worlds in the middle of bustling cities. Will look forward to your Birmingham city centre coverage of that canal.

    2. Ye that’s some viaduct….as you said similar to the one in kiddy…. I used to pass under on the canal to work at Stourport back in the 90’s….. your covering some ground ah kid 😉💪🏼

    3. Thank you Drew, for a such a fascinating video, my uncle Sam Emery was a canal boatman in Wolverhampton in
1911. He lived at Ash Place and just opposite was a basin off the canal. Sam and my Grandfather George were in the 2nd Battalion South Staffordshire Regiment Sadly Sam was killed in 1914 Anyway thank you for a great video.👍
