Mein Fahrrad schnurrt wieder wie ein Kätzchen. Es ist wirklich verrückt in wie viele Gefühlszustände man über einen einzigen Tag gerät. Von himmelhoch jauchzend bis zu Tode betrübt in kürzester Zeit und das in einer Endlosschleife – so kommen mir meine letzten drei Wochen vor.
Heute waren wieder Euphorie und Fröhlichkeit dran. Das reparierte Bike lässt mich den Krampf der letzten Tage vergessen und dann habe ich eine der schönsten Begegnungen meiner Reise.
Schon von weitem erspähe ich vor mir auf der Landstraße ein Reisefahrrad-Pärchen. Die Frau zieht auch einen Anhänger hinter ihrem Fahrrad her und hinten baumeln undefinierbare Fetzen herum. Ah, die sammeln wohl auch Müll schießt es mir durch den Kopf und ich setze zum überholen an und werfe noch einen Blick in den Anhänger. Ein Baby!!!
Albert 11 Monate alt, am 11.07. wird er ein Jahr alt. Wie cool, denke ich mir! Natürlich spreche ich die beiden daraufhin an und zeige mich ehrlich begeistert von ihrer Aktion mit Albert auf Fahrradtour zu gehen. Isabella und Heinrich sind zwei grundsympathische Schwaben aus Stuttgart. Sie sind von Tallinn gestartet und wollen noch bis Klaipėda. Dann sind sie auch über 800 km gefahren, in vier Wochen. Ihren Rhythmus passen sie dem Kleinen an und das funktioniert tadellos.
Weil wir uns so nett unterhalten fahren wir runter von der Bundesstraße und setzen uns auf einen Nachmittags Lunch in ein gemütliches kleines Restaurant/Café. Es tut so gut nach drei Wochen mal wieder deutsch zu reden, eine sehr schöne Sprache stellt man plötzlich fest.
Eine 95 Tage dauernde, 7200 km lange Fahrradtour durch 9 Länder rund um Nord- und Ostsee.
Ziel ist es so viel Plastikabfall und Spenden wie möglich zu sammeln, um die gemeinnützige Organisation @oneearthoneocean zu unterstützen, die mit ihren Müllsammelschiffen die Flüsse und Ozeane vom Plastikmüll befreit.
Unterwegs sind wir mit elektrifizierten Cargobikes von Velo-Lab und unterstützt werden wir von Globetrotter, Vaude, GRAVIS, Triple 2, Ilockit , Magped und One Earth One Ocean e.V.

My bike is purring like a kitten again. It’s really crazy how many emotional states you get into over the course of a single day. From sky-high jubilant to deathly sad in the shortest time and that in an endless loop – that’s how my last three weeks seem to me.
Today was again euphoria and cheerfulness. The repaired bike lets me forget the cramp of the last days and then I have one of the most beautiful encounters of my trip.
Already from afar I spy in front of me on the country road a travel bike couple. The woman also pulls a trailer behind her bike and behind dangle indefinable rags around. Ah, they collect probably also garbage it shoots me by the head and I set to overtake and throw still another view into the trailer. A baby!!!
Albert 11 months old! How cool, I think to myself! Of course I talk to the two of them and show myself honestly enthusiastic about their action to go on a bike tour with Albert. Isabella and Heinrich are two basically likeable Swabians from Stuttgart. They started from Tallinn and want to go to Klaipėda. Then they have also cycled over 800 km, in four weeks. They adapt their rhythm to the little one and that works perfectly.
Because we talk so nicely, we drive off the highway and sit down for an afternoon lunch in a cozy little restaurant/café. It feels so good to talk German again after three weeks, a very nice language, you suddenly realize.

The goal is to collect as much plastic waste and donations as possible to support the non-profit organization @oneearthoneocean, which uses its garbage collection ships to rid the rivers and oceans of plastic waste.
