Bought a second hand Trek Fuel EX 5 from a coworker. He purchased this bike new in 2018 (although I am convinced from my research that it’s a 2017) and rode it for precisely 136.2 miles before storing it in his garage until now. He switched to road bikes so he sold me this beauty for a whopping $200, and I have the receipts in hand… I know that won’t do squat for Trek warranty but still nice to have.
While I initially wanted a Fuel EX 7 couldn’t pass this deal up. Will go through it big time since it was sitting for quite a while, and want to make it a 1×10. I have a new Shimano Deore 10sp 11-46 cassette laying around (M4100 I believe) however will need new cranks up front to fit a 30t chainring.
Other than the AliExpress special Claw, any recommendations for a crank set?
