  2. This is one of the most dispicable periods in all of human history. Christ never existed, nor did Muhammad. All this idiocy over a pair of fictonal characters and a pair of books of magic and fairy tales.

  3. Beasts are those who killed women and children.
Beasts are those who killed entire population of Jerusalem when they took it after first Crusade.
These beasts came from present day EU. They are not real Christians and not on God's side. Otherwise they won't lose 11 crusades in a row.
This is the most humiliating defeat in human history and no army can break this record.

  4. Merci pour ces documentaires…trop cool…..je kiffe..et quel courage avait ces types a l'époque par rapport aux lavettes que l'on est devenu 😢

  5. Hey my brother I must say I truly enjoy your history research narrative and expository telling. The fact that you pronounce place names correctly as they were called in that time period shows the depth and accuracy of research you bring to your program and each individual episode. I especially appreciate your understanding of the relationship between Richard and Saladin. Given my understanding of human nature I would venture to say they both the respected and appreciated each other more than they did their backstabbing half-stepping countrymen and so-called allies. Yeah both of them were betrayed by their so-called allies, Richard by French allis and Saladin by his Emirs . I do believe both of those leaders were men of God following their God the god of their understanding to the best of their ability with honor and chivalry. I salute your effort as a historian and truly appreciate what I see plainly and clearly as your labor of love. Bon vie Mon ami 😊

  6. Anti jew in Europe in the Middle Ages was largely influenced by the Christian belief that the Jewish people were collectively responsible for the death of Jesus through the so-called blood curse of Pontius Pilate in the Gospels.

  7. It's somewhat amusing that both sides had Turks in their midst. Oghuz, Pecheneg Turks were found among the Christian ranks, while Oghuz and Kipchak Turks were present among the Muslim ranks.

  8. Holy roman emperor Barbarossa had 200,000 soldiers, i really wonder where they disappeared exactly and only 5,000 could reach their destination? It is known Seljuk Turks kept engaging them as soon as they entered Anatolia but according to BSpedia they had only few thousand casualties which can't be true ofc. I wish HistoryMarche told their part with details as well, it was by far the largest force of third crusade and commanded by German emperor himself but they could disappear into thin air somehow…

  10. So in the first minutes you make a point to say that Saladin let them go but its not true he only let them go if they could pay ransom and if not took them as slaves. Kingdom of heaven is not a historical source

  12. Third crusade was a draw in my opinion. Whereas the Christians won the first and Muslims the second, both parties achieved success in the 3rd. Barbarossa whooped the Seljuks and Lionheart bested Saladin twice due to superior tactics and leadership. But the ultimate prize of Jerusalem was still in Muslims hands, so the crusade was only a partial success.

  14. Mahdi is a revered figure among Shia Muslims, believed to be one of the divine prophet Mohammad's last descendants and a descendant of the murdered Imam Hussain (Who has been murdered thirsty, shed on the ground, and trampled with hatred). Imam Mahdi is also mentioned in the Bible, the holy book of Christians (Matthew's Gospel, Luke's Gospel, Mark's Gospel, etc.) Similar to how Jesus is viewed by Christians, Mahdi is considered the final leader for Shia Muslims, having been chosen since childhood. For many who follow Islam, he is believed to be the person who will save humanity from the evils of modern slavery, recession, injustice, inequality, homicide, and genocide along with Jesus Christ. His presence is seen as the key to ending the darkness engulfing our world and bringing about a season of peace, fulfilling the hopes and dreams of people everywhere. . @masaf_studio

  16. Say of the crusades what you will, but they saved Europa's western cultures from becoming islamic. If diversity is a strength, then the mass immigration of muslims to almost all western culture lands should stop or we will become far less diverse.

  17. Interesting, I was in believe that only the Byzantines had Greek fire. We hear of so many failed Muslim attacks on Constantinople because of the Fire Ships used the Romans

  18. Saladin main army was kurds from home town also few turks and arabs , this war between kings of Europe and him was nothing to do with muslim even saldin religion until now not determined maybe he was yezedi religion because most of his army from sanjar province which they are yezedi religion follower until now. After saladin arab historian change the whole purpose of war and made saladin muslim leader to diminish kurd s and sadly westners repeat same thing again.
