Parts of the crowd fought with police officers, and set a bus and a police car on fire. Police said they had detained a man in his 50s, who suffered injuries believed to have occurred during the attack, and weren’t looking for more suspects. Supt Liam Geraghty told reporters that they did not believe the incident was terror related: ‘As you can appreciate, this is the very early stage of the investigation, which is not even four hours old at this stage, but at this time, An Garda Síochána is satisfied from our inquiries that there is no terror-related activity.’ Geraghty added: ‘It would appear to be a standalone attack and we need to determine the reasons behind that’

    1. Condolences to the victims. With the benefit of hindsight, I sincerely hope that lessons will be learned this time and migrant deportation procedures will be reviewed thoroughly and vigorously to ensure that this doesn't occur again on Irish soil. Prayers, vigils, resolve and meaningful dialogue, not the usual lip service given by opportunistic career politicians or useless Mayors

    2. Scientest, artistical life comments, from turkey. As you see, new generations are more succesfully than before ones. Like water waves:
      1- özgür özel at opera
2- movie scens from the turkish movie "desolated man" (ıssız adam).
      A turkish sentence: "bu bağlamda"
The coach business is ok by my threehundred ……. They know. Then could go on by hat…

    3. "The attacker was disarmed by three men who intervened: Caio Benicio, a 43-year-old Deliveroo driver from Brazil, Warren Donohoe from Baltinglass, County Wicklow, and Alan Loren-Guille, a 17-year-old trainee chef from France."

    4. These weren't riots, they were "mostly peaceful protests" cmon now, if BLM gets called "mostly peaceful protests" when causing billions worth of dmg across the US, then this is even more peaceful as it caused much less damage.

    5. The Irish people are proud and patriotic. They do not like their freedom of speech being muzzled by the social elite Irish government, and they will not stand for this.

    6. When i heard that innocent children had been stabbed to death by an Algerian immigrant ( that the government had tried to deport) I was that angry that i got this strange 'far right' feeling all over.
