Join us on a quick trip to Wrexham to watch a football match and see if we can spot Ryan Reynolds! Got my bike training done on my turbo and Zwift before I went because I didn’t fancy battling the elements outside.
Also some words on being kind to yourselves and eachother xxx

What is wrong with people? Keep doing what you do Lou. Enjoy your channel.🎉
Must be surreal walking around Wrexham after watching the show.
as usual great vid Lou. I'm looking for some advice if you could help, I've just broken my wrist after a fall off the bike and have had to have a plate inserted which means i cant ride my bike outdoors until the plate is removed which will probably be early June. bit different from your injury as I've just been told i can get on the turbo was wondering if you could suggest any training, rides I can do to stop me from going round the bend. Many Thanks here's wishing you, Rob and the family have a great Christmas and all your plans for the New Year go according to plan
And the Ladies of Wrexham have kicked some serious ass too. Don't forget to be kind to yourself as well.
As someone without a turbo trainer yet, the struggle is real. It was dry ish today so I managed an hour and a half outside. Hope the training goes well and you and Rob have a great Christmas.
Ignore the "energy vampires", probably just some prepubescent grounded in their bedroom. Would they say it to your face, or if Rob was nearby ?
Stay on course Barbie Lou
Miss Lou, Thank you for the post. HooYah for turbo trainers for crap weather. Keep up the training. Wrexham looked like fun and Rob had great seats. Always enjoy watching your channel
Waaay!! Wrexham! I work in the hospital. Some great riding around here.
Ignore the haters. The majority of us are here to support you. Stay strong.
Hi Lou , just ignore the idiots , quite sure there is a great group of people myself included that enjoy following you , speaking of turbo trainers mine after 3years during winter and some rides during spring time , 20,000km 398.000m of climbing has suffered a heart attack , at the moment have been communicating with the company for a possible solution , i have a Elite directo XR, anyway its not great not riding ,last year 10,000km alone, wish you a Merry Christmass with the family stay safe out there
Been doing lots of turboing myself lately, but I have to commute by bike. Not fun at all, and at times seriously sketchy, in spite of steel stud tires. All that salt, grime and moisture have also done in my brakes, I was super close to going metal on metal on my last ride. We also had some days with double digit negatives, where one by one my gears stopped working, because the derailleurs froze more and more. And in spite of covering all parts of the drivetrain in grease, none of this can be good for component wear. If I had the choice, I would only ride indoors at this time of year. Nothing about riding outside in this kind of weather is cool. I know there’s people who say stuff like “riding indoors is soft”, “that doesn’t count”, “man up” and all that macho nonsense, but they’re either living in climates where what they get can hardly be called winter, or they have no regards for their own safety or the state of their bikes. There’s a third group of people. The ones that go out on their fat bikes, ride through the winter wonderland, having a brilliant time. But they don’t usually judge you, because they’re actually happy with themselves. But I suppose when you just go out for a miserable ride in miserable conditions, feeling miserable the entire time so you can say you’re tough and rode outside, you then go out of your way to make negative comments towards people who choose not to do that, hoping to make them a bit more miserable, too.
There’s no need to entertain haters or feed trolls. We should all just do what makes us feel good and let others do the same. In the end, by far the most important person we’re accountable to are we ourselves.
Amongst my snowy commutes, there was this one afternoon ride home where it was sunny and I actually was riding through a winter wonderland. It felt great and kinda made all the dark, wet and grimy rides worth it. And I still get kind of a kick out of even those rides in the worst of conditions, because they take skill to do safely and it’s a struggle to even get motivated to go out. But I would still much rather commute in better conditions, and it would never come into my mind to judge someone for not doing that.
Have a fantastic trip and some wonderful holidays. Can’t wait to see what you got in the pipeline
Riding in Fl will be alot warmer. When you become more popular like you and Rob people get jealous and hate sometimes. Regular people don't we like to see you both having fun👍 don't let a few random turds get on your nerves. Just be you, hang out with Rob and do your thing 🤠
👋
Loved this vid, Lou! Great advice for staying safe and healthy during the winter months. Cheers!
Attending football matches over there looks like a good time! I hope to see you in Florida Lou!
Just come across your feed. Ignore the haters. You are doing an absolutely amazing job! Great Zwift training as well!
Thoroughly enjoy your channel. You have made progress.
As to THOSE people. Remember. Strong people lift others up. Weak people put others down.
You are one of the strong people. Thank you for sharing your positivity.
Cheers. 🌞🚴♀️🖖
Happy Holidays to you and Rob and the boys. Stay warm and keep sharing your fun content. ❤
Hater's are just miserable, empty folk that hate themselves so much deep down, that they project their own sour self loathing onto other's. You're great and you look great! ❤ Go Wrexham! 🇺🇲🏴
