Waddesdon Chilli Festival is well established but, until this year (2023), they had never held a chili eating contest. This is the inaugural competition of extreme spice held in Aylesbury.

  1. I like this contest, because is nice to know how European people are able to take spicyness and hold it in better than non-European ethnic people (I think there were few in that competition) when the media always jab ethnic Westerners as “weak” when it comes to spicy. And this is coming from a non-European ethnic man.
