How much did the sexy bike cost as it’s a limited edition
I was in Lewis's store yesterday getting my bike fixed up. Man, that guy is one great person, very knowledgeable about my bike and how to not only repair it but fine tune it. Thanks again Lewis for the help ! (Ross from Vancouver)
Weight doesn't really matter if you're just touring for pleasure.
Riding a bike is what you make of it
Awesome video and story, thanks for sharing it
I like a light bike myself. But I don’t like the price tag.. my old mtb was 15kg no additions…. It was fine to cycle at the speed it could do.. I did 50 miles on it once… he has just adapted to a heavier bike and built up the muscles to accommodate, if he switched to a road bike, his body would change … I reckon he would be much stronger
And that gearing is coming back in some what… path less peddled you tube channel is selling them or making them via a manufacturer…I think friction shifter .. i can def see the appeal of them now, but I prefer the click of shifters
Jason's JAMUS bike may be heavy but it's a quality commuting workhorse. The barend shifters make me excited & his parts would outlast any high range carbon bike. Whenever my fitness lags, I always use a heavy steel bike for workouts. You burn more calories with that extra load. And look at his Marathon Plus tyres…they rarely puncture & wear well.
Great show , loved meeting the other cyclists. Steel is real, especially if you weigh a bit. If carbon or aluminium break you just have to throw the frames away but steel you can weld it. Keep up the good work.
Just weighed my bike, 31kg (with my quick fix toolbag).
I have known and worked with Josh over the years and the transformation of this fella is amazing, being chefs its hard to look after yourself but man he is doing awesome..proud of you bro
