    1. Great info. Can't wait for the hinted Time that goes against the Look 765. Get me on the waiting list for a build with Sram Force and mudguards for 32cc tyres.

    2. looking forward to more class videos from your team. One of best creators of the year. And keep us up to date on how Jake does in the pro ranks

    3. Plans are to ride next year. Absolutely no plans or desire to buy any new bike I’ve seen. I hope most of the big brands suffer for their gluttony during the pandemic, and have to go thru restructuring, retraction, bankruptcy, sell off, whatever. Shimano deserves a class action lawsuit over the crankset issue. Also hope to see them forced to comply with a right to repair law like Apple has gone thru. Their electronic group sets are awfully too expense to have to replace the whole thing because a part of it stops working or is damaged. So, we need the individual parts so we or shops can fix, plus Shimano should also have to set up regional repair centers and have to offer reasonable cost repairs for the more complicated stuff. Will spend more money in 2024 on my 2002 CR250, whos’ parts seem much cheaper to buy comparatively to bicycle parts.

    4. 3D printed shoe bed and upper customization is another thing we might see coming from the orthotics industry. The trick is a no fuss way to getting data about foot shape, maybe photogrammetry using your phone against a calibration template or scanning in bike shops. I know I’d benefit from a custom fitted cycling shoe.

    5. More of a wish than a prediction: I want to see more innovation with alloy. Carbon fiber as it stands is atrocious for the environment, and I want to see companies coming up with good metal alternatives, eg Hunt and their 34mm deep aluminum rims or Vaast and their super magnesium. I am curious about this new recyclable carbon that, for example, Chris King is using in their new wheels.

    6. Dude, I have no idea what you were talking about because of that armchair. Tell me more about that aged, tanned beauty! I know you're talking about bikes, but I just want to chill with a whisky right now. 🥃😂

    7. would love to she Hambini take on the waxed chain snake oil and see what he thinks of it.
Can't wait for the opening of the North American Time factory. In a time where NA manufacturers are moving to Taiwan, Time is moving here.

    8. cool didnt know about the time factory in the us. been researching a place to retire to with more elevation change. being outside os ashville might make it more affordable place to be and a new bike place.

    9. looking forward to competition in new tech, hopefully creating healthy price drops, making it available to more normal people, i really want a 3d printed saddle

    10. I want to see more bespoke bikes and less identikit offerings. There are some great frame and bike builders out there that can create and build better bikes than the mainstream offerings.
I also want to see the bike press looking out side the box at alternative options for components, clothing and kit. They are too narrow minded and focused only on the big brands that their advertising revenue dictates.

    11. All the best Jake. It is clear you have more than just an employee/employer relationship. Precious.

Thank you for keeping us abreast with the latest developments and trends. We look forward to more of these in 2024.

We live in competing and conflicting times and it is refreshing to see that you have taken a collaborative approach by complimenting and cross referencing with, other experts in the business.

The aged armchair caught my eyes too, a good distraction. Happy Holidays.

    12. Shimano have really dropped the ball with electronic shifting. No Di2 MTB or gravel 12 speed. 105 DI2 price point and performance should be used as a model.

    13. Very Interesting especially the Look "Simple & Beautiful @5:17 because you said upgrade your frame with wheels & your groupset I have hopes maybe Look has done another RIm Brake road frame? Better yet a tube & lug carbon like the 585 😉

    14. 2024 will see more pisstaking from the bike industry as they are urged on by people with zero ability but lots of money. They still haven’t worked out that this strategy will put them out of business.

Dura Ace Di2 is £2,500. Who the hell is buying that? £50 – £70 per tyre is utterly ridiculous but we need tyres. £150 jerseys are almost robbery. Well done cycle industry. You must be so proud of your behaviour

    15. Ye, I wish Sram parts become available faster. We have 120 days wait time here in Vietnam.

btw, reg. the last video, so I had this bike:
Trek Emonda ALR 2021 model, upgraded with Ultegra 11s Mechanical, DT Swiss G1800 wheels running 30mm GP 5000 STR. It's lighter then the carbon model.
Recently I built a new one:
Ceepo Mamba R, Farsports custom wheel 50mm deep, 25mm internal width laced with DT Swiss 240 hubs and Sapim CXRay and with Sram Rival. Going to use this bike for Ironman 70.3 next year. This comes with reversible seat post which is perfect to get into a TT position with Aero bars.

    16. I hope discounting continues. I bought Treks midrange Fuel Ex8 model in 2014 for just under $3,000 AUD. It now retails for $6,500 AUD. Hahahahaha, who on earth is buying bikes at these ridiculous prices?!?

    17. I stumbled across your channel a while ago now. You appear to have Hambini-like levels of pedantry, when it comes to working on bikes. Which is a very good thing. I wish that my local bike shops were similarly inclined. I enjoy most of your content, even the roadie stuff. It would be great, if you could show more of the actual workshop stuff. That would, in my opinion, be both informative and entertaining.
      New subscriber.

    18. I have to admit that I'm not all that excited about Shimano, somehow having parts that were recalled this season but should have been recalled quite some time ago… doesn't give me a whole lot of confidence. I'd like to see easy compatibility across all groups, and that also means across all levels of components. This may be a bit off topic, but I hope that we'll stop hearing all the info many times over, meaning that so many videos even here on Youtube there are multiple videos on the same subject and some that come out after others have been here for quite some time. Happy Holidays everyone!

    19. Holy crap. Time is opening a factory 40mi from me? Oh man that’s awesome. I think an AdZ should be my next bike, so if it’s made just down the road? Too cool.

    20. Excited to see the new Fluidity. Unfortunate that it comes so late after the pandemic boom and after so many great endurance bike releases recently. Let’s see. Hope I don’t have to sell my new Look 765🤞.
