This driver has no place driving a taxi. He either is willfully breaking the law or does not know it . Both reason's are inexcusable as someone who makes their livelihood feom driving .
I feel sorry for the passenger, hearing such bad language by an allegedly "professional" driver!
If I was in that taxi, I would leave the driver in no doubt about what I thought of him, got out and then I'd have reported him to his bosses. It's unacceptable. I do wonder, though, if the passengers were family members and used to his arsery!

Should send this video to the company he's driving for. Fair enough he got away with it because of an error with the Met, but it might still be an eye-opener for his boss, especially his hostile attitude and the state his cab was in?

So, yet again a mistake by the Met has allowed this dangerous driver to escape punishment. Never mind the disgusting state of his cab.. but the way that his stupid passengers defended him when he was putting their lives in danger makes you think is it worth the effort ? …Of course it is ! It's guys like this who let our side down given we are the best and most regulated licensed taxi driver's in the World. It usually takes (although I did it in sixteen months, yeah, yeah i'm being a bit solipsistic here) several years to pass the green badge "KOL"… "Knowledge Of London", there is also the yellow badge knowledge which is a suburban license only by the way. Nobody fails it they simply give up so only a very small minority get through to the bitter end and he's putting his license at risk which he worked hard for by illegally holding his mobile, very stupid and silly. His language was completely unnecessary, and the front of his very expensive hybrid TXE looked like a rubbish tip. By the way CM a couple of weeks ago I called you Mr Van Burp when I saw you along Holland Park Avenue which you took in the polite and amusing manner it was meant and said.
