If you’re new to my channel and videos, hi! I’m Evan Edinger, and I make travel vlogs of all the exciting places I visit. I started travel vlogging about 8 years ago because I wanted to see more of the world and be able to watch back some of my adventures. I also make weekly comedy videos every Sunday on my main channel usually revolving around funny differences between British vs American things! Anyway, thanks for stopping by!

Man…looks like you are wearing a cheap wig when using the cap😅😅😅
Love this vlog ❤ sorry Heather was too sick to fully enjoy her first trip to Amsterdam.
I have so many questions. How long did it take to get from London to Amsterdam on the train vs taking the plane? I am surprised you didn't Van Gogh through platform 9 and 3/4 😅. How could you remember where you parked the bikes? You weren't tired biking everywhere? Where did you stay in Amsterdam for the night?
8:22 wow Evan, your hair is really growing! (Kinda jealous)
The best are from Gouda the place there invented them. And that was a stroopkoek and not at stroopwaffel.
Since you want to see windmills and are in Berlin right now, in Marzahn there's a working windmill.
Even you are acquiring an English accent 😂. Congrats!
I’m afraid I’ve eaten a whole packet of these in a day 😮
Amsterdam looks so pretty
Loved this vlog Evan! Amsterdam is one of my favourite places. 🎉
Good stroopwafel review! I recently went to Amsterdam as a Dutchie and randomly walked into van Wonderen because I was craving a stroopwafel. Nearly got a heart attack when I saw the price and stomped out making angry Dutch noises
You know it is illegal to hold any electronic device while cycling in the Netherlands since a few years. You can get a 140€ fine.
I always see Tony's at REI in the states. Had no clue they were Dutch!
Gotta love a doctor who will prescribe ice cream
ohhhh yeaahhhh he said its coming and it did! love this guy.
wunderbar!
How dare you say you trying to find the best stroopwafel in Amsterdam without trying Tregroes!
Many people in Wales know where the best stroopwafel in the world come from…
Tregroes Waffles based in Llandysul
There are still a family run company
Those stroopwafels look amazing! 😍
We wish Heather a speedy recovery and please feel free to contact us if you anywhere in or around the area or Amsterdam! We can't wait to see more of your adventures!💖
Evan, thank you for taking us on this trip. I really love the Netherlands have a lot of friends there but can’t really visit now bc i live in Russia so just thank you again
Ps hope Heather feels better
Did Heather take a Covid test? We just had three family members test positive after having similar onset and symptoms.
Those Biscoff covered pancakes looked heavenly.
That first 'stroopwafel' looks more like a thin stroopkoek. You can find those in the supermarket as well, they're usually a bit thicker and the stroop is also a bit more gooey, thick. The cookie part is also a bit dryer, more like a sand cookie.
Giving a Like for how hard heather pushed herself despite being sick. I hope she can go back to Amsterdam another time when feeling healthy.
I want to say thank you for sharing your travels! I’ve always loved seeing these vlogs, but I’ve actually been studying abroad all over Europe these last couple months and seeing you go to spots I recognize now was a ton of fun. 🙂
Hope Heather’s better now. And why is it that every other trip you two take, one of you gets ill? Has your punny ways angered the holiday gods? I don’t actually know, just taking a pun-t… i’ll get my coat.
I really enjoy train travel. It’s preferable to travel by plane to me.
What a treat with the Tony’s Chocoloney!! Those are so good!
Real nice – love the vegan junk food bar ❤
Very cute couple 😊
Filming Red Light District just for only 3 seconds is 3 seconds to long 😔
Haaientanden (the triangles on the road) not being a universal thing explains so so much about tourists cycling in Amsterdam 😂 Same as our fietspaden (bicycle paths, usually separate and red) not being universal: tourists often cycle everywhere but on the cycle paths🫣
I hope Heather feels better.
The first "stroopwafel" you had wasn't a stroopwafel, but a stroopkoek. That's why it's different.
If you really want to see a nice museum, with lots of bikes & lots of Van Gogh's works you need to visit 'de Hoge Veluwe' with the Kröller-Müller museum. Beautiful art in nature & weirdly mostly unknown!
9:40 It is an old spellinh the uy in cuyp represents a diphtong we would now write ui. You sort of pronounce a sound like the first e in ever followed by the sound germans write like ü. It is extreamely rare and therefore foreigners tend to use a sound like au or ü (which we spell as uu) instead.
Dutch has quite complex phonetics, like many germanic languages, but some dialects seem to make a sport out of it. Wikipedia sais the sound I use for g is only in a hand full of languages.😂 (3 or so, but it is wicipedia, so I'm not shure.)
the ´arrows´ pointing towards you are called haaietanden – shark´s teeth. They indicate that you should give way. Nice video. Netherlands has more to offer than just Amsterdam, maybe try Utrecht or Haarlem next time?
Best stroopwafels are in Gouda as they originate there. Visit beyond Noord-Holland sometime.
Amsterdam is a vibe for sure. Looks like it was a fun time!
How does everything look so colourfull? The Netherlands isn't that colourfull… is it?
