Toyota Ceo Reveals Ammonia Engine | This Is The End For EV’s
    —————————–
Toyota has a new ammonia engine and everybody is talking about it.
And for a good reason, this is not just another useless advanced technology; it will change a lot of things in the industry and affect all of us, including you.
We all know that Toyota doesn’t believe in an EV future and they are a huge company, so their decision will have a big domino effect. And ammonia might be the answer they have been looking for; will this be the end for EVs?

    1. This looks promising. Nice to see there are actually prototypes built, and used. Let us hope the inventor or product, do not get buried like all the others.

    2. OMG, this is a load crap. EV's have came a long way in just 10 years, in another 10 years the infrastructure will be in place, only stupid people think this can be done in a few months.
The range will double or even triple in that time. And I'm going love seeing and hearing all these big oil and fuel companies crying, please buy our very costly fuel.
I just don't understand why people love paying these stupid high prices for fuel, when you can run an EV for 75 to 80% less and if you have solar on your roof, could run your car for NOTHING.
The other thing you need to take into account, their is very little servicing costs with an EV, properly only about $1000 at the most over 10 years compared to around $6 to $7000 for an ICE car.

    3. lets start with the fact that EVs are NOT "greener" than ICE. The production of the batteries negate the "no carbon emission" advantage. Factor in the environmental cost of recycling or disposing of the Li-ion batteries plus use of fossil fuels to generate electiricity and EVs are worse than ICE.

Even a solar powered EV has carbon cost…the solar panel production

    4. Tesla started in 2007 and after 15 years it's a solid manufacturer with solid technology.
Maybe in 2050 or 2060 will see this technology from Toyota

    5. Here's the problem. Yes, using ammonia as a fuel emits much less carbon, but burning ammonia results in Nitrous Oxide. The same amount of N2O is 265 times more powerful as a greenhouse gas than Carbon Dioxide. As you said, the ammonia engine has been around for awhile. It hasn't gained any traction because it doesn't solve any global warming issues.
