I've heard you take the mick out of people's accents a few times now demeaning them when they've not deserved it. I understand that more drama means more views but have a bit of decency as treating people like that for self gain isn't nice. There’s only 1 water main which is used for drinking water and for fire fighting. That man is using a “stand pipe” which has a gauge on top, supplied by the water authority which is submitted to the water authority on a regular basis.They pay a yearly fee for use of the “stand pipe” plus for the water they use. Absolutely legal.
YouTube has some pretty bogus policies that change in a whim based on who’s reviewing and their persona ideas regardless of actual laws.

I've worked at sites that work on MoD contracts and they do seem to be full of slightly thick, overweight, uninformed, old-school types. Don't expect a lot from the pen-pushers and chaps from the 1960/70s, we are all a little bit out-of-date.

The pressure needed doesnt come from the water main. The fire service run it through their fire pump on the fire engine and increase the pressure as needed. Not from the water main , its only about 3 bar . The engine will increase it to 6 bar or upto even 11, 12 and 13 bar and more

If a company pays for a fire hydrant key from the water company they can take from a hydrant, I’m a car Valeter and pay per year for a hydrant key from Scottish water
Spot on with the FH! It’s illegal for anyone (generally) to take water from a FH.
Washouts are also subject to consent from the water companies
