A look back on my favourite race all year. I travel with my team, Catford Equipe Banks to race in Bulgaria’s national tour. After having a day to explore around the Capital – Sofia, we didn’t know what to expect as we set off on Stage 1.

Loved the video! In time you'll be able to try different types of shots! I'm impressed as a lazy part time commuter cyclist that you peddle to Richmond Park! Me, Ashford hospital to Marble Arch, 1 hour 40 mins is my record! Always screw up through Hyde Park and if I'm lucky might touch 18 mph on a gentle down slope! I'm about to be 64 and a returnee to cycling!

brilliantly done! seems you had an editing masterclass by francis… 😉 nice subtle beat reminding little bit of blue wednesday, different types of footage, a consistent storytelling and all tied together with a clearly intonated commentary. the only thing you could work on is the shakiness of your cam. race footage is just priceless – ever thought of putting a gopro in your team car?
Most people can elucidate all of this information in less than a third of the words. I think this is why I am uncool and boring.

Very good vid/vlog, what did you guys make of the race? will you come back next year .I have lived in Bulgaria 10 years and when I 1st arrived I thought exactly like you guys 🙂 . But cycling here is great especially in the mountain towns with great climbs and new tarmac roads .

That gear incedent is exactly why mechanical groupos are better for race situations. No point in having di2, a well tuned machanical set won't have problems like that.
