Neuschwanstein Castle is a monument of romanticism of the 19th century. The most spectacular view of the castle opens from the bridge over the gorge. Inside, the walls of the castle are decorated with murals depicting scenes from Richard Wagner’s operas.
Castle Hohenschwangau – rises among the spruce forest on a cliff overlooking the Alpsee and Schwansee lakes, the hotels below and the mountains with valleys and houses. The interiors of the castle are decorated with frescoes on the themes of Germanic legends. The courtyard of the castle is decorated with paintings on the walls, knight’s coats of arms and a small picturesque chapel.
