Passing People Politely on the #bikelane

Not all Cyclists are arrogant & rude. The Friendly Cyclist is here being polite to people he meets in the bike lanes, cycle ways & shared lanes. Today I’m back in Nuneaton cycling around Whittleford Park & Lakes. Some of you may say “It’s a footpath”, but this is a shared public space enjoyed by everyone, walkers, dogs, bikes, young & old.

I enjoy meeting people on my travels & I do this with a friendly smile & a gentle hello, especially if I’m passing someone from behind, a polite “hello”, “excuse me”, so they are not startled as I ride past.

Setting a positive example of cyclists as I explore the beautiful British countryside, trails and cycle lanes.
