Zdob si Zdub represented Moldova at the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest in Düsseldorf, performing the song ‘So Lucky’. Moldova came in 12th position in the Final with 97 points.
So what do you imagine would happen right if you asked Bob Mortimer to write you a song for The Eurovision Song Contest,choose the Act,design the costumes and choreograph the whole thing … well isn’t it bleeding’ obvious !
I can't explain just how much I love this entry lmaooo, it always puts me in a good mood. Absolute perfection. It was my favorite that year and still remains one of my top Esc songs and performances of all time. I remember voting for it as much as I could. Much love to Moldova, from Finland.
Zdob si Zdub are the greatest band of Eurovision, and Moldova is an example of perseverance: the poorest country of Europe where even the richest people have to scrape by every year always finds a way to participate to Eurovision with nothing but bangers. 12 points always from Italy!
