Estonian cyclists freed. On Thursday, July 14, seven Estonian nationals detained four months ago while on a bicycle tour in Lebanon were released in good condition as confirmed by Lebanese officials. The families of the seven athletes sent a statement of thanks to the Lebanese people and government as well as to the officials of other countries whose efforts they said resulted in the peaceful return of their loved ones.
We join in gratitude for the cooperative endeavors that brought about the safe freedom of all seven Estonian cyclists. Wishing them many celebrations of life in the company of appreciative family and friends as we pray for benevolent societies everywhere and safe passage for all.
