The talk on Sustainable Fuels was organised by the IMechE South Essex Area and was delivered on the 29th of November 2023 at Anglia Ruskin University.
The talk was delivered by Luke Goldsmith who is the UK Sales Director of Coryton Advanced Fuels Ltd. Having held technical and commercial positions within upstream oil & gas and sustainable chemistry industries for over 15 years, Luke has used his diverse experience to raise the profile of sustainable fuels and fluids and facilitate their adoption.
This webinar will provide an introduction to Coryton and Fuels (both fossil and sustainable), the driver behind their development and the technologies currently used and being investigated in future. Luke will provide case studies in Motorsport, light & heavy-duty and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF).
He will also discuss the political viewpoints from the UK, EU and worldwide, examine future use scenarios and provide an insight into the limitations and advantages versus alternative powertrain technologies
