A 6 episode series is coming soon!

In early May 2023, I was commissioned by the Norwegian Public Road Administration to cycle part of the Eurovelo 1 route between Bergen and the Arctic. The plan was to hop on and off the Hurtigruten, Norway’s famous coastal liner, so I could experience as much of the coastline as possible during the 8 days of travel.

I had a cameraman follow me all the way, which resulted in some incredible footage and will take my editing skills to another level. The 6 episode series takes you beyond what you know about this coast as we dig deep into the culture, history, and incredible natural world. The first episode is coming soon. This is not to be missed and way too good to be free on Youtube!

  1. We're doing a road trip from Tromso to the Lofoten, and we've spotted the EuroVelo 1 signs all over the place. But not only the signs, the amount of bike packers is amazing. Looking forward to this series!

  2. So looking forward to this. Your work is inspiring!
"… and way too good to be free on Youtube!"
(And why I pay for Youtube premium! – not that you probably get much/any. )

  3. Do you have any advice or recommendations for bicycle/sykkel repairs and services in Norway ? Recently most of the local shops in Drammen have changed their 'customer service' to only supporting bicycles they have sold. Thankyou

  4. Nice and look forward to it, can you do an updated video going through your new bike and bag setups? Also what Rapha jacket is that?

  5. Hi Matthew great inspiration. I only noticed now – any reason you dont use rain fender guards with all this wet?

  6. Awesome! Looking forward to seeing it. Currently cycling from Lindesnes to Trondheim and than south to Oslo and further. And we are loving it!

  7. In a time when so much of the online world is all about disingenuous promotion and money schemes, it's awesome to find creators like you who are truly passionate and make works of art. So, thank you!
