Great tour of coastal France. Question for you, I am thinking of chartering off the Atlantic coat of France and would be interested in hearing about what resources you use to navigate the tidal range and marina depths. I have seen the bloc marine book and it looks really helpful. Searching charters, most boats have between 1.5 and 2 meters draft and that also is the range of a lot of the marinas with only limited areas at the larger depth. Are the marina staff helpful with limitation or do most boaters void any marina that could be questionable? You do avoid most of this concern/question with the lifting keel which is wonderful. There are a lot of interesting cities/harbor with 1.5 meter depths and on a 1 meter low tide there should be 2.5 in the marinas… but one doesn't want to ground a boat.
