Wow, those Sudanese pyramids are amazing! Smart move to hitch-hike on that dangerous road. HOLY COW! The protest with tear gas was crazy! I'm so glad you got out of there safely. At first I thought the drums were gunfire – very scary! Cycling in Nairobi also was very scary to watch. I hope you were able to get on some lovely quiet roads thereafter. Amazing episode! And Happy Christmas!
Well that was a great video 👍Now you are in my 'real Africa' 😁 Sudan – Now you know how quickley things can change in Africa. Hitch hiking my record was Harare to Joburg in 1992 left at 11am arrived inHillbrow just before 12 pm all day in trucks mostly with only 11 Zim dollars in my pocket 🤣 the Mara pity you werent a month or two earlier for the migration but you still saw a lot of game we used to camp there by the river great days but the best was Amboseli camping under Kili surrounded by elephants and lions no fences pure paradise I loved it ! Looking forward to the Kenya leg after the Safari video.As for Covid youcan count your lucky stars you not in Europe with our resrictions and we all just waiting for lickdown again life here is awful at the moment !
Howdy Patrick ,Thanks for sharing those lovely moments, I know that A1 section between Atbara and Khartoum is super busy as its linking Port Sudan and Khartoum,best option to cross the Nile at Shendi and take the west road which it have little traffic,(too late now) I advice cyclist to do that on C2C WhatsUp group.Cheers 🙂
Hi man Thanks for showing us kenya and sudan As you experienced The rode in sudan isn’t safe because of the army rolling the country without any desire for constructions or development for the last 33 years I hope your next visit to Sudan will be more satisfying
