    1. I think you under estimate your entertainment qualities. You always make me smile.. We love seeing life in France and the countryside. We will be there when you put out a vlog.

    2. Keep on challenging yourself by creating. I am watching right now. The visits which include historic information, the villages, and how others have created a life in France is so interesting. Seeing places where I have visited is thrilling. From the Dallas, TX retired French teacher.

    3. Thanks for the adventures, I really enjoyed your village tours and history lessons. OK may Canadian friend, I keep a lookout for your future vlogs. Cheer, Adrian.

    4. Glenn! I watch several French channels and I’m pretty sure we all like the tranquility and general things. One video a month or so is great. Just come if and when you have something you want to show. We all have slow days maybe it’s the time of year. Ohhh geez content, content and more content!

    5. Just my opinion but you don’t want to grow too fast as it won’t allow you to develop your skills. Cool editing and differ software and equipment. You do what’s right for you and your family. Well I’m just happy to follow great Canadians. Have fun and stay safe

    6. Thank you! Funny, last week I was thinking the same thing with fall/winter here to maintain content and keep us followers interested. Yes I agree and will watch no matter how often or not, I enjoy your Canadian sense of humour, descriptions of your escapades. 🇨🇦

    7. Thanks for all your interesting and fun videos! Above all make videos for yourself and not because you have to. 🙂
Sincere vlogging and sharing your story is what will set your channel apart. Who knows in the new year! 👋

    8. I am saddened that you feel the way you do, Glen. Though I understand it can be exhausting trying to keep things going for only a few people at a time. It can be disappointing when the numbers aren’t there to reflect your efforts. I absolutely enjoy your channel and I am sure many others do as well. I consider your vlogs a breath of fresh air and inspiring. You take us all on a journey like no others. You show us what’s involved in rural living in France; the ups and downs, the hard work and the rewards and you do it all with your awesome wit and clever banter. One feels relaxed and calm as you and Sue guide us all through your world and yet excited to discover all the caves and castles, the brocantes and beautiful outdoor scenery. I know you feel like you’re running out of things to show us but to be honest you could show those places over and over and we’d never tire. We look forward to our Sunday mornings and to watching the Wednesday shorts as well. I do hope you’ll reconsider and come back even if it’s just once a month. We’d also would love to hear of some more of Sue’s thoughts and perspectives of life in France. How does she feel about her experiences there so far? She seems like such a lovely person. Anyway…I’m rambling here, lol! Long story short…we love “Life in Rural France” and if only you knew how much your efforts are truly appreciated. Kelly and I wish you both a wonderful and relaxing Christmas and so many blessings in 2024. Staying Thirsty!

    9. loving the stream , or river if you will 😜 and its getting dark and colder , meaning more bad days i guess …. spending time and pondering is important , i do not do it myself and it's not healthy.

Just whenever your ready or want to you post , someone i follow from holland is not making any content from mid november till the new year ..
And congrats on your first 20 euro , we are at 26 now in 4 weeks🤣🤣good for one small shushi plate and a coke says bradley 🤣🤣
and i feel the pressure of doing my weekly video also … can you imaging doing daily one …. 🤪
am cheating again and its now 9 days ago , what means youtube will be peeved of and not recommend the new video … really do not get this system ,but happy with the people who watch and comment 🥰

      All the best
      Yves

    10. I will miss your videos. I watch on internet TV with no comment ability but today I switched to small screen mobile so I can say thank you and farewell. I've watched and enjoyed every episode, especially the "out and about" trips. (Yard chores not so much – LOL). I'll keep my subscription in case you create an encore. Thanks for all the time and effort you invested. Wishing you all the best in times to come.

    11. Completely understand Sue and Glenn. You didn't even mention all the work that goes into filming and editing the vlogs!
I will stay subscribed in hopes to see the gite when it's being refurbed or when it's been done,
Have a lovely Christmas and hope to see you back at some point 😊💜👍

    12. Oh my God😱😢 The Best Tour Guide in France, quitting! NO Way!!!… Glen. Just withdraw for a little while, recuperate, rejuvenate, come back fighting when you are ready. The vlogs that you make we find to be so interesting, with a sense of humour, and wonderful to watch, unlike some other content makers on here. When any of your videos pop up I'm like "sit back it's going to be enjoyable" and boy you have never let us down.
Enjoyed the trip to Cahors, thanks for taking time out and letting us walk with you both.

The invite you both had with local friends and community, reminded us of our French friend (Patrice). He was our neighbour who lived directly across the road from our house where we are in Wales. He, and his partner would always invite us over for food and drink, whenever they had other guests, or friends who turned up for a visit. Sadly they have moved back over to France, after eleven years living here in Wales. They now live in a beautiful, stunning property, which is in. Lot Et Garonne. We still keep in regular contact and hope in a few years time to sell our house and move over to France, to be somewhat closer to them once again. I'm always keeping up to date with the property market over there. We are interested in the area of a place called. Chabanais. Which to us ticks a lot of boxes. Just a waiting game now for retirement age, can't come soon enough for me (wishing my life away, ha ha,). We know it will be a stressful, but an exciting one for us when the time gets closer. Something that you and many others have already experienced. Anyway enough of my chin waging. Cherish one another, and take care.

Sending love, hugs and best wishes to you, Sue and the amazing, talkative cat, Boot. Don't let the curtain fall, never give up. Hold the Line and Stay Strong. " A bientot mon amie.

    13. Nooooooooooooo :((((( I always look forward to your blogs and I don't care if your repairing , talking, wandering around your garden or visit a period town. Your channel is like visiting a mate and hearing on how you are going. But I understand as it can be tiresome having a burden to put out a video when you don't have anything of interest going on. So I can wait for future updates when you are ready 👍 Be well and we are all here ready when you are 🙂

    14. France is on the ball with renewables , new ideas , environmental issues and those hideous vista killing wind turbines but I just don't understand why smoking is allowed in restaurants and all you see on the ground is cigarette butts ! The wear on those steps from over hundreds of years with people walking up and down on them was amazing ! I have felt what you felt with that town. When I was touring France, certain towns made me feel like home but others made me feel glum One particular town Amiens where I stayed one night when passing through, was the first town that made me get up so early so I could get on my way and out of that place.

    15. I hope you continue to do more, even if it's less frequently. I am from Northeastern New England, and I totally relate to the sentiment of wanting to get away from the winter snow and cold. I have made the decision to move to France in the next few years (obligations keep me here for a bit longer), but I didn't know to where, until I found your videos. The area around where you live seems like a great spot to start looking. I also love the "history lessons". I have always been fascinated in medieval history, and your day trips, from city to village, are fantastic. Finally, last December (2022) my wife and I spent a day in Rouen (we were on a Christmas Markets cruise around northern Europe). The town was awesome, but the market was a little too commercial for me. Before you sign off, it would be great to see videos of Christmas markets from the cities/town/villages around where you live as a comparison. However, it IS a huge task to put together quality videos, so it's understandable that you need a break. Best wishes, and happy holidays and new year. Hope to see you again someday.

      Jean-Luc

    17. Oh Glenn I was so excited to see there was another one of your videos. Yesterday I went back and watched all the videos I hadn't watched! You're naturally funny and I love your content. And yes I would stay in you and your wife's gite. Keep on going. Jenny from Australia.

    18. Hello from Michigan. I'm sad to see you leaving. I do hope you find your inspiration and come back. I feel like my wife and i just discovered your channel. We went back and caught up on your older content which we loved. We love what your doing and hope to follow in your footsteps when i finally retire. Whatever you do enjoy and as you say stay thirsty 😂 eh!

    19. Hiya Glenn, I’m one of your background audience and just wanted to say thanks for what you’ve produced in the last year. I’m in Scotland, heading for retirement and you’ve certainly given me food for thought. My motorhome may be exploring your region before too long! All the best for now, Gary

    20. Very disappointed… As a fellow Canadian from Toronto. I am also trying to get a channel going. I feel like you don't understand how incredible it is to get monetized. Sure 15 euro a month is nothing still more than what I am getting after 78 vids…That will buy you a couple beers/wines for sure and should give you inspiration to continue. I started my channel a few months after you. I am renovating a Masion de Matre all on my own and have been challenged for content. How many videos of moving dirt and pouring concrete in the garden can you do? My video quality is low, being from the film industy I know what I should be doing, but I have not had any hope of making a go of my channel, so I don't want to spend money on cameras and time on polishing my videos. I am just outside of Carcassonne if you ever want to meet up let me know. If not hey, I'll take any subscribers you don't want! Hope you keep going and would be nice for myself and my wife to meet you guys for a drink at least! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCSi4sNAZdgjQ3_AWarBsR5A

    21. It's the mood. Deja vu. It seems like it's that time of the year again. Never say never, LOL. Anyhow, after watching all these videos, feels like knowing you, but again still do not know what your name is. Sure, you'll be back, and I will continue watching. Merci for keeping it real.

    22. Glen & Sue, when we saw the title of this latest video, we thought the goodbye meant you were leaving France! Thank goodness not! We appreciate how much effort goes into finding content and putting out these videos and also appreciate you sometimes need some ‘me time’. We think you have a fantastic sense of humour, and when we get to France …when!!! … we really look forward to meeting you both! Will be emailing you with our latest hiccups, as to when…..as well as a few questions we have. All the best, Jenny & Charles (South Africa)

    23. I love your videos. You've got a great personality and I find your videos entertaining and soothing to the soul. As much as I love France, I don't know if I would have to courage to relocate there as much I think I would like to, so it's been a pleasure to live vicariously through you. Thank you for all of the time, thought and effort you have put into creating these videos. They are truly beautiful and I will keep a hopeful eye out that you might return in the future if it's something you decide you would like to do.

    24. Thanks for the memories Glenn. We understand completely but just so you know your quality was always excellent and the journeys you took us on were wonderful so thanks a lot. Enjoy your break and your family time, cheers.

    25. Hi Sue and Glenn. Sorry to hear we will not get to see any more of your very interesting blogs for a while. It's been such a lovely and interesting way to keep in touch and tour the area with you both. Merry Christmas to y'all!😁🍹
