Hej, this video was a welcome surprise. I bet the drive was more tiring than any of the biking.
All those spicy beans, l hope you pegged the tent down well. Tack Ed
So this was a rather short episode due to all the driving to get there. But stay tunes for Episode 2 (coming next week). I'm sure it will be something special. At least, riding that stretch in person was something out of this world!
Well done Mike we love to see these country sides…
Never heard about a bean salsa in Mexico. 😁😁😁 looks amazing lucky you can get out!
I live in western Norway, and I'm planning to syckle to the top of my country next summer. Love your videoes!
Hopefully no norway chainsaw massacre over there.
I've been to Norway 3 times in the past. It's a magical part of the world. Would love to go back without the army kit I was carrying last times I was there. I remember being on patrol on an exercise in mid September and foraging on wild strawberries whilst we took a knee for a listening stop. Looking forward to seeing your journey Mike. take care.
Thank you for video. I miss being on the road .
Crazy times with boarders closing and all. Looks time you timed your Arctic tour just right.
Can’t wait for your next video.
Nice. Looking forward to your next installment. Take care and stay safe, Al
10 years ago I cycled the north of Senja from Gryllefjord to Botnhamn near the end of a much longer trip which finished in Tromsø. Such great memories, thanks for the reminder.
Absolutely outstanding views Mikael…peaking cinema quality. Hope all is well… Enjoy your trip!
Btw, I'm recognizing that Hoglof logo…intially i mistook it for Under Armour.
looking forward to the coming videos of your trip. Looks amazing!
What were dates of your trip? What are optimal dates for Arctic riding in Norway?
Trying to follow your route, what was your actual starting point on Senja Island?
Really looking forward to the next instalments Mike. Your video filming and production is really top drawer.
Hi Mike. Glad to see that you're making more wonderful & beautiful videos. May I ask a really naïve question? At around 2:29 (and then again at 3:23) there are two little sheds on the water's edge. What are those sheds for? Do they hold boats? Or are they there for another reason?
“Dropped everything and left that day”. That’s when you know it is a lifestyle…. a priority.
I always enjoy your videos.
Hello Mike, Glad to see you back on the road. Looking forward to your next video from Norway.
Another good video Mike. Beautiful countryside you are cycling through. It was an astute decision to take the opportunity for this tour when it came up. It is impossible to know how things will play out with lockdowns and border closures. It is good your wife and children are happy for you to do these trips.
Tommel opp 👍
Good to see you back out Mike , hope you are keeping well . Enjoyed the fist part of the ride looking forward to seeing how this trip goes , the scenery looks stunning . Still in shorts so it cant be that cold ….. yet . atb Dave
Looks good mate. One day I'd like to get over there and tour Norway.
Look forward to the rest.
I feel inspired every time I watch your videos! Thanks Mike 🙂
Thank you for your wonderful pictures. I just love these scenery and landscapes and being with you on tour. Yours Anders
Beautiful country, little traffic, and decent weather… this one looks like something special. Thanks for bringing us along.
Hi Mike. I just finished a 1700km tour through my home state of Texas and got home just in time to see you start another tour. Woohoo ! Man I wish I had that kind of scenery here. Looking forward to more. Atb, Tony
Your arctic tour is perfectly timed for armchair bicycle touring during the pandemic. The scenery along with perfectly matched music is very calming. I live in the boreal forest precambrian shield of Northern Saskatchewan Canada. Winter has set in with half a meter of snow already. By the way Mike I really like listening to your accent and clearly spoken English.
Great scenery.
It's a beautiful part of the world that you ride in. Does Norway have the same concept of right to roam that Sweden has?
Hi Mike, glad to watch in your videos. Could you, please, tell us the temperature once in a while so we can feel the atmosphere and your endurance.
Ooooh – new adventure! How exciting? After eating all those beans – it’s a good job you’re a solo-camper 🤣🤣
At 1.50. Wow..you learn something every day. I didn't realise that marshmallow farms were so far North.
Hello, I congratulate you for the report and the views, I just subscribed and I will follow you in the following videos, greetings and good luck 😊👍☘️
That is a very beautiful place. I have in mind to do some cycling in Sweden, Norway & maybe Finland & Lapland. I'm watching your videos to see what that area of Scandinavia is like. Thanks and he safe. 👍☮️🌞🚲
Wait, what, no Trangia!? 😦
what a awesome places!!!! have a good trip
Nice video Mike. We were also going to tour the Arctic Coast of Norway in 2020. Hopefully next year things will open and we can go. Look forward to your upcoming videos
Thank you, Mike.
Because of the changed world, my little cycle tour did not happen at all… but it is very kind of you to let us share in yours.
Stay well, and keep your family safe, okay?
We hope to be riding up there this summer – can't wait!
What! No wine?
Really enjoying your videos right now and they are encouraging me to bike longer distances. Thank you for taking the time to record and to post these.
Thank you for sharing – both enjoyable & informative.
Beautiful scenery!!
Hi Mike, may I ask where you filled up your water in senja?
