Only 2 mins in Paul & mudguards are on Paul 😂🚴♀️🚴♂️ & never ride through water in case you hit a pot hole!! 🤦🏻♀️ poor Ian. Pleased we weren’t riding with you this weekend 😮 you definitely had an adventure
I would normally be happy cycling through most of those. floods like that. But now I have a ebike with di2 shifters, I keep well away from water, don't want to electrocute myself 🤣🤣🤣
I have a winter bike that has mudguards on all year round. Certainly needed them today, flooded roads everywhere.
get 2 bikes 1 with mudguards 1 without easy 🙂
It looked more like a river than a road get a canoe
Future video. Paul fits new bottom bracket and gets new wheel bearings! Prune feet!? 😀
Good effort guys 😂 Think I’d have turned back for home long before 😂
You know it's deep when your Hambini's underwater 😅 BTW Ian, it's called the Paul Green Rule not the November Mudguard Rule.
never take them off.(Mudguards)
be sure to check your BB after that ride.
well done lads crazy ride.
That looked fun, Ian’s style of riding through the puddles made me chuckle. I was the only one out of 4 today with mud guards, I agree with Ian, put them on when it’s wet not what the calendar says and also out of respect for those you ride with too 😅
All year round. It’s the UK, it always rains!
Imagine living in Bottesford at the moment 🙏🏻🫣
Mud guards are for wussies.
Excellent ride Paul, the only problem going though deep flood water apart from getting wet feet is hitting a pot hole hidden under the water.
Enjoy your week
Bearings hate muddy water and Ian should try a pumpkin pie…delicious.
Shedding a tear for your BB and hub bearings 😂,
Nothing worse than wet feet
Plus side of the ride no punctures, lucky you , great views of your roads.and the water!
Hope you have good seals on your bearings 😂
That looked scary in places, you cannot see the pot holes under that brown water! Reminded me of a ride early this year when we faced floods along a country 'C' road. While the group discussed the pros and cons a Range Rover went for it. A few minutes later the Range Rover came reversing back as the floods went for miles across all the fields and he didn't think they would get through. We found a different route and cafe 😁 .
Looked like great fun can you get wellies that you can fit cleats on, might look daft but you keep your feet dry (hopefully) lol😂
The thing about floods is 1 can’t tell how deep it is 2 there could be a pothole underneath
Mudguards on all year round. Call me a wimp….
Just rode today in the wet and did a video of my SKS X blade 2 fenders i put on , they are excellent
