The friendly Cyclist returns to the Nuneaton bike lanes, cycle ways & shared lanes. This is how I meet & greet any one (or dog) when our paths cross, with a friendly smile & a gentle hello, I sometimes stop if the doggy looks like it wants a fuss.

Setting a positive example of cyclists as I explore the beautiful British countryside, trails and cycle lanes.

Thanks for watching & I hope this video made you smile

  1. Well it's a shared path mate but there's much I can tell you about dog walkers as a runner and Dad pushing a pram. Dog walkers own everything, have right of way in all situations, do not have to consider anyone or anything else, and are always, always morally correct. So much so that their dogs can shit all over peoples roads right outside their houses, and indeed the local parks, which they often pick up, but then discard in nature in plastic bags, which are everywhere. If you feel the need to challenge a dog walker whose animal is off the lead and has just confronted your two year old child with aggressive barking, be prepared to accept neurotic behaviour akin to a mother protecting a newborn human, and just accept that the animal is actually lovely and just being friendly. In essence, they're right, you're wrong, and the parks are for the sole use of dogs walking their owners. Know your place in all of this – dog owners are superior to all of mankind and everything was built for them and them alone. Ok?
