The Yorkshire Divide presents two new long distance circular bikepacking routes.

The two routes show an old Yorkshire, England’s largest county, which today is home to 5.5 million people. It is also home to 25 major rivers such as the Aire, Calder, Esk, Ure, Wharfe and the living things that depend on the water.

We take 10 of these rivers and connects the old drovers lanes, bridleways, moorland singletrack, greenways and quiet country roads that run along the high ground where the rivers rise and then across the floodplain where the rivers gather to create two unique routes.

The Headwaters Trail and the Source to Sea Trail start by taking you along the valley floor on canal towpaths in the Calder Valley, up through the oak woods on steep valley slopes and then across wave after wave of Pennine moors.

    The rest is your adventure.
