In this conversation with members of Virtuous Company’s Leadership Program (Programa Lideranças Virtuosas), Prof. Guido Palazzo talks about the main ideas of his upcoming book on corporate scandals and the causes o ethical failure in organizations. Prof. Palazzo is passionate about “the dark side of the force”.
He investigates the critical issue of “why do good people in organizations engage in morally inappropriate, toxic, criminal, and even violent behavior”. He is well-known for his course on Coursera ” Unethical Decision Making in Organizations”.
Prof. Palazzo is also widely known for his studies about globalization, in particular on human rights violations in global supply chains, and he has a TED Talk on responsible consumption and the soft power of storytelling.
