Under the new name FOPYUpcycle I bring to you another video today, showing you how I am altering a newish blouse of mine. I bought it in haste on holiday and wore it as a very light over garment. Now I rarely wear it because it is so big. So it is time to give it a more flattering shape.

As regular viewers know I am keen not to be wasteful and get enormous satisfaction out of reusing things and /or clothing. A few things are beyond my capabilities but where I can I will reuse.

Again, I hope it gives you some inspiration to reuse some clothes in your wardrobe / closet.

    1. It's always fiddly doing alterations, plus trying to explain on Camera what your doing to everyone. You did well Jan, the top looks great and really fits so much better. I love the colour on you too. Well done, now at lest you will wear it next summer. Thank you and stay safe. Weatherwise you are freezing and we have a heatwave 💕🇦🇺

    2. Hi Jan what a great alteration it looks real nice on you.I’ve just altered some curtains that my daughter no longer wanted for my bedroom and have enough fabric to also make cushions covers so no cost involved. xx

    3. Great improvised design and sewing tutorial! This is exactly what sewers need to watch!!! Sometimes, it is not about tailoring or 'alterations', it is just about making it nice and making it fit! Thanks Jan!
