Cycling from Cascais to Guincho beach. The 5km bike path is extremely well kept, and follows the coastline the entire way providing some pretty epic views.
When I was researching this before getting to Cascais, I kept seeing that there are free bicas. However, those articles and posts seem to be pretty old, and I don’t think they exist anymore. Cascais seems to have a pretty standard bike sharing system with stations around the city and a mobile app you can use to take them (which I assume you pay for). Honestly, I downloaded the app but gave up trying to register because I didn’t have all the necessary information (Portuguese number, address, etc). We wound up just renting bikes from a local place, which was fine because they were much better bikes then the bike share ones.
I haven’t seen many videos on YouTube that show the entire bike path, so hopefully this will provide a little insight of what to expect to someone out there.
