NO! Not a horde of…Nightmare Creatures!

Remember having this on a PS1 demo disc? I did, and i was too scared to ever complete it.

So let’s go back to 1997 and play through this action horror from French developer kalisto, and see if Nightmare Creatures was actually any good.

As usual a massive thank you to the supporters on Patreon, Youtube and Twitch.

    1. HOLY SHIT I have had this game in the back of my mind for over 20 years but couldn't remember enough about it to even google it.
      Definitely had this demo disc.

    2. ive always loved this game but NEVER completed it. First time I played it was from a demo I beat like a billion times, but I never got my hands on the actual games. later on I tried an emulator but never really got that to work and lastly I bought a pc version of it and I got stuck , simply because there werent any enemies to kill to keep that sane-meter high. I would love to finish it tho someday 🙂

    3. Hey Josh! Love your content! Could you check out "War of Monsters" for the PS2? I remember it fondly as a fantastic 3d kaiju fighter with unique moves, destructible environments, and cool Kaijus to play as and fight! A big thing I remember fondly is how the game rewards playing the game and beating the campaigns with skins and characters, stuff that today is typically sold as microtransactions. I think games of that era were a great example of that kind of stuff.

    4. I always start to die when my adrenaline doesn't stay up, too. I just have to constantly beat up a punching bag and lift some weights, every 15 minutes, or I can't survive or go out in public.

    5. what's funny is that if infinite adrenaline and infinite lives would solve your biggest gripes with the game, that means it can easily be made into a great experience with like 2 lines of gameshark code

EDIT: actually there doesn't seem to be a infinite lives code discovered yet. but hey: Infinite Adrenaline
