Girls Saved a Soviet Village from Nazi Attack in 1942! – The Dawns Here Are Quiet Movie Explained
In May 1942, during the positional battles in the west of the Soviet Union, a small village called Junction 171, located in the Frontline Zone, survives amidst the ongoing shelling and bombing by the Germans. The village is populated by soldiers who enjoy a quiet life filled with alcohol and conflicts. To address the problem of drinking soldiers, two anti-aircraft gun crews of girls, led by Senior Sergeant Kirianova, are sent to replace them. The girls include Lisa, who falls in love with the foreman Vascov, and Rita, who runs away to see her son and later joins Vascov’s group on a combat mission. With Vascov’s leadership, the group, which also includes Zhenya, Galya, and Sonya, embarks on a mission to catch and destroy a German sabotage group heading towards the KIRO Railway. They face various challenges, including the loss of some girls, but ultimately manage to eliminate the Germans and achieve their goal.
