EPISODE #66
This is the final episode from our cycling trip across Spain. We are in the cyclist mecca of Girona… this place really is Disneyland for cyclists. There’s cafes and patisseries everywhere, bikes shops on every corner and the roads are just simply incredible…
We spend two days checking out everything that the city has to offer. After wanting to visit here for a very long time… I’m finally here and I couldn’t be happier! It really is an incredible place.
On day 1 we head out to a lovely town called Banyoles… on route we stop at the famous Haribo factory, because you have to… and then on day 2 we take on a very famous climb on the outskirts of Girona, called Els Angels… what a stunning climb. Unfortunately, things didn’t end the way we had hoped and we end up taking a bit of a slide on the tarmac, which wasn’t fun at all! In fact that was my first time having a crash like that… and I really didn’t enjoy it! Haha!
But overall it didn’t put too much of a damper on the trip, we really had an amazing time… thanks so much to the guys for making it so memorable.

Mahas to Dead sea descent in jordan then climb back or off to aqaba. https://youtu.be/ZkrdMQZAbbs
Daym bro that crash was terrible. I’m glad you’re both ok though. As far as future trips go, somewhere in Asia would be awesome. Japan, Taiwan, China, South Korea just to throw out some suggestions.
Being no stranger to gravel rash over my years of cycling, I can sympathise buddy.
Shit happens and usually quickly, but you guys there for each other and nice that members of the public checked you were both ok.
Three superb videos giving a massive insight into an epic trip. Keep up all the good work and all the best for the coming season. Tel.
Gravel rash ain’t no fun …. Great team loved watching the videos can’t wait for the next adventure….. next time Alex 😂
The phone footage looked great!
Excellent content, your videos brings me much need joy. Keep up the good work, and can you do a video on your setup and gear? Also try an IPhone it’s excellent.
Great content as always.I suggest Pan Celtic
Caminho de Santiago, or N1 Road in Portugal, crosses the country from North to South
im not even kidding when i say that everytime i watch your videos, i get a sudden urge to want to go out to cycle for myself, such great quality and good vibes always. great video as alwys keep it up!
Great videos. What size is your Maap rain jacket? So cool.
Respect to both, heavy crash that one. Some feeling hitting the floor, no idea how hard you’ve hit the deck and just takes it out of you a little. Well played both ! Scary times with shit on the floor. 😊
Absolutely brilliant video. Well done and thank you for sharing.
An inspirational breath of fresh air Thomas – all power to you mate
Yet another top video Thomas…..those KOM hunts are gonna be the death of you buddy 😮
You love Haribo on your rides? Let's meet in Bonn, Germany and I take you to the original Haribo Factory Shop. (Haribo is named after it's founder HAns RIegel from BOnn)
Colour is washed out when you use the phone
I think HDR was enabled on the your phone which makes it look a bit weird. But that's just my thoughts.
The quality looks awesome otherwise.
Thomas you keep a high cadence on the Els Angels climb what cassette are you using? Hope you mend quickly after the crash.
If you want to know a true cycling paradise you have to come to Ávila, Asturias or the Basque Country, but in spring or summer. Good videos. Regards 🖐🚲💪
This trip has been absolutely class ✌️
Great video, i wonder if you had gravel profile is would not happen. Thx
Thanks for the great vid – hope you’re all 100P!
Glad you guys are okay …… Beautiful comradeship
well done guys great video 😊
re-watching this, on my kickr bike, window open, as wet heavy snow falls in Toronto. longing to go back 🥺Also phone footage looks great. EDIT: so sorry to see the crash. glad you're both ok
This series was brilliant, really enjoyed the format! Apart from everything that has already been said I wanted to suggest a place for some epic rides and filming – Gran Canaria. Most people think of Tenerife when talking of Canary island, but believe me Gran Canaria offers so much to ride and enjoy in terms of scenery, food and culture.
Catalonia.
Catalunya.
California Los Angeles !
new channel name, The Sweet Tooth Cyclist!
There's a also a great climb but up steps to the fine Girona cathedral.
I'm from Girona ☺
La mujer dice "Necesitan crema anitbiotica?" JAJAJAJAJJAJAJAJAJAJA
