I often get asked what to do in the Algarve of Portugal. Most people know that there are beautiful beaches, castles, hilltop towns, and history but what about something locals do (like me) all the time to see and appreciate our special part of the world.

Come along and I will show you, as well as take a trip with our expat tribe and as we do this activity together. Ok you guessed it…biking around the beautiful region.

    1. I always enjoy seeing your bike rides, sight seeing and info on Portugal. Thought about moving there at one time but instead I bought a campervan to live and travel in after mom passed last year. I'm lucky to have some married friends who let me come and go from their property in Calif. Just lost my 18 yr. old dog in Jan. so I travel solo now and I'm really enjoying life on the road. Looks like you are having a great time as well. Take care

    2. Hi Veronica I am going to Albufeira. I going to be looking for properties to buy, I am arriving 3/2 and leaving 3/27 could you recommend a lawyer or realtor and in your opinion which banks . I’m an American citizen and also a Portuguese citizen and have my NIF #. I live in Massachusetts, retired and hopefully I can find a apartment or a house looking forward to hearing from you. Thank you Tony DaSilva

    3. My husband and I visited Portugal in September for 3 weeks after watching your channel and others and our last stop was VRSA ( due to your videos) and we loved it. Actually stayed at Pestana on the square and it was lovely

    4. Avid long distance runner and most likely will have a bike once I live there, but was wondering if you see any runners out and about. Also looking for in running groups that might be around Tavira. Would be nice to connect before my scouting trip this fall.

    5. Sheer fun out there down in Eastern Algarve, Cheers Verinica! That’s a lovely bike ride you all took showing various routes, definitely my cup of tea😄, the food and drinks enticing, the scenic routes along well marked trails and shaded routes are so nice, thank you !! for showing the map, the loop from vrsa to castro marim well worth it!

    6. Oh, excellent timing! We just booked a week in VRSA for May and were wondering how to get bikes to cycle around like you guys on your videos. Now we know where to rent them! Thank you for your usual useful information.

    7. Holà! I'm sitting on a beach bed overlooking the ocean and whales in Cabo. Just watched your video about renting bikes. It was perfect timing. We are going to visit your town for 4 days in September, before heading to 4 other places, including Cascais. Thank you for telling us how to correctly pronounce it. He He When we take the ferry to Spain, is the town within walking distance? I'm really looking forward to having a coffee and a beer in your beautiful town Square. I look forward to your next video!! Have fun!!

    8. Thanks Veronica for sharing another great video. I see some familiar faces on these bike rides. During my stay in VRSA I rented an electric bike from Luis (right behind the Pestana hotel) for one week, wonderful bike, and so helpful with maps and suggested routes. I rode on the paths, streets, pine forest by the beach that Veronica shows in her video. So easy to get around by bike. Keep the videos coming!

    9. Greetings Veronica! Lovely scenery 😍 . We are visiting early June and staying near Lagos and then in Taviera a few days with our 9 year old daughter. We would love to do this bike ride! Is Taviera closeby to VRSA?
